I'm never sure what to make of a Bob Gannon post. Especially one as vague as that. Hmm...
Nothing vague at all...
Just like in 2015 and 2016, ay?

I don't find it vague at all

Hi Guys After all the years I have been on this forum, I am daring to feel hopeful this time. I saw Paul in 93 and still have my tickets for the cancelled Melbourne concert, so it has been an agonising wait. Can I ask the people on this forum who appear to have "connections" how a diehard fan can get the best tickets possible? Do you know who might be handling the ticket sales? Any inside info would be appreciated. Cost will not be an issue. Cheers Chrissie

No.

I'm cynical too, but also very excited that this might actually be happening!! I still have my 2002 (cancelled) tickets.
-
Wow Mr Bob Gannon in our little thread! Not sure that has happened before?
-
Hmmmmm, how did that happen? Must be a good sign, or a favorable one or hell....just a coincidence

And it's just simply Bob! No Sirs or Mr's here

Got ya! I really hope if the stars have indeed aligned like they seem to have done that this isn't announced for a couple more weeks so the tax man can pay me a refund which can be used for good tickets for the tour!

Congratulations to all Australian fans! Is it a coincidence that the news came out on Paul's birthday (and mine)? I'll raise a glass to you all after the cake.

Thanks, Carlos! And happy birthday!

Yes, a glass! It's a good day for Paul fans everywhere. His birthday, a new honour and a Down Under tour announcement that is 90% imminent.

Thank you! The best gift I could have from this forum is seeing my friends happy with this news. You have waited so long, now enjoy! By the way: I see a kangaroo and a kiwi on Paul's guitar, so I guess he'll be in New Zealand too.

What a nice thing to say! And, yes, that definitely looks like a kiwi. My guess is that he will play Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland (based on past Stones and Springsteen tour schedules by the same promoter).

The picture of Paul's guitar with a kangaroo and a kiwi is on twitter too, so it seems the promoter is getting everyone ready for the announcement:
