Brooklyn, NY/Barclays Center/Sept. 19 & 21 - CONFIRMED
-
Correction: Jimmy and Lorne left during Golden Slumbers. The 3 rows behind them soon followed suit, much to my luck! Random note: the full band finally got name-checked! Yay!

They were trying to ask him to leave, during the encore, to go to the side of the stage, but Jimmy made them wait til almost the very end of the show. He was having such a obviously great time and I was thinking that he didn't want to miss anything!!! That was so fun when Paul was asking if anyone had a birthday, before doing Birthday. Jimmy didn't realize it at first it was for him, Paul kept asking and finally who had a birthday today, and finally Jimmy must have realized...and he shyly raised his hand at first. Then Paul made it obvious and she started waving his hand, he was sooooo psyched!!! He really started rocking his happy dance, when Paul sang Happy Birthday for him, and everyone who had a birthday...and the whole audience for their birthdays!!

Watching periscope....showed Jimmy Fallon in the audience before Birthday because it is his birthday and the audience sang Happy Birthday to Jimmy.
Jimmy was directly in front of me, exactly 4 rows ahead in the 12th row, next to Lorne Michaels. We all watched them come in, they got a big cheer, they stayed until the beginning of the encore, Jimmy, unsurprisingly, looked to be having a ton of fun even outside of his birthday tribute, and they got another bit of a cheer when they left. Jimmy was so directly in front of me that it was his head blocking a lot of my photos and videos! For instance, this one, where Jimmy's head is the one most blocking Paul: http://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4LqHri8Z8XQaWlpTHpGU3U3Tnc I think Kyle Mooney from SNL also walked past me about the same time as Jimmy and Lorne, but no one seemed to recognize him! Swear it was him.
Here's a video of it all!

So I don't post on here often, but I was at the show yesterday. It was a surprise birthday present from my wife and kids - Come to find out that Jimmy Fallon and I share a birthday. I wish I could have experienced it with my kids especially my older son. I have seen Paul before but last night for me was by far the best. I am not sure if it was because it was my birthday and a surprise or the energy or both, but I am still in awe of what I watched last night. What a great show!!! Thanks, Paul!!!!

Since there is another concert tomorrow night (the 21st) shouldn't that date also be in the title of this thread? Mods?

In the MSG thread, I just posted about the youthful energy Paul seems to be giving off in these shows. I don't know whether it was because of that, because of his comedy friends in the crowd, the crowd in general, or other factors, but he seemed to be very loose last night, very witty and fun. This moment might be the funniest thing I've personally seen him do during a show:
-
Jimmy just gave a long, very sweet recounting of last night's events with help from Questlove who was also there. He seems deeply touched by the whole thing and was talking about how his 15 year old self would never have believed that story. Hopefully the clip will be up tomorrow! Also MJ Kim posted a pic of himself backstage with Jimmy -- I guess he invited everyone to the show tonight!
