It's true though. The soundcheck setlist is becoming almost as predictable as the regular show. When he adds a new song to either setlist we all go nuts! I wonder what this would sound like live:

Good point. You would think a sound check he would loosen up and try to different songs more often. People on this board get so excited over the smallest change, makes me SMH.

Yikes! No thanks! I mostly said what I did in my previous post because the 3 soundchecks that were listed were not identical. He did make some changes. And also, the songs the poster suggested for SC were good songs, but not realistic choices, meaning Paul would most likely not do them. Saying "Why not such and such" is a futile exercise when it comes to McCartney!

Just to clarify, I was not excited by his small changes in the soundchecks, just stating that there were differences. He'd have to rip into Silly Love Songs or something to make my heart rate increase! (Either that or call me up on stage. Then I would definitely get excited!)

But they were the same songs that have been played before. "On My Wat To Work" is the only one that is not a soundcheck standard...but it is becoming one. So the setlists are not identical but they are the same songs as usual. No surprises being rehearsed. And I was joking with Light From Your Lighthouse.

Understood. I was really thinking of other people and not you when I made that post. I remember some people were literally getting orgasmic when he added "Temporary Secretary" to the setlist which is I song I really dislike. I agree with you, he would have to do something like "Silly Love Songs" or "Soily" from the Wings era or something like like "Take It Away" from his solo catalog to get me excited.

"Saying "Why not such and such" is a futile exercise when it comes to McCartney. Sad but true !! He is in his happy Beatle place raking in the cash and why bother with the people who have bought his solo records from 1980 on and would love to hear more of it live.

Great minds think alike! I almost added Take It Away after SLS! And I'm not crazy about TS either!
