Is there ticket info yet? I totally missed out on the first show. I hope there is another presale!
-
Time to add an extra hotel night. I would expect tickets for the second show to go on sale with very little advance notice as per usual.
-
I got my tickets. they are actually in my hand. row 16 *sigh*

anyone know when the last time Paul did 2 shows in Detroit? I thought maybe the Silverdome in '93 but I could be mistaken

ah...the tour where I heard the cheap seats were $300. I declined to go and I'm glad I've gotten to see Paul since

I cant speak for the secondary market on those prices but the Ticketmaster tickets were priced similarly to how they've been since 2002 in an era WITHOUT VIP packages. You could be in the front row for $250 plus fees back then as opposed to having to pay $1700 or more for a VIP package to get in the first few rows. Tickets, like 2002, for the US tour were; $49, $99, $125, & $250. And these prices have generally stayed that way even today (minus the VIP packages) It was however his last three month (40+ show) continuous tour; Sept-November jaunt.

I remember when Paul came back to Cleveland in the Fall of 2002 on the "Back in the US" tour and I bought two $125 tickets ... floor seats, middle section (it may be section 5) about 5 or 6 rows back from the aisle that divided the sections up. Great seats for HALF the $250 price. Now it's $250 all around the floor and at least half way up around the lower sides. Debating if I want to do night 2. If I do I'll be going alone, and I don't think unless something decent within a good price range falls in my lap I'll try to buy in the presale or general. I'll just roll the dice and see what happens ....

Sounds good ... I may just opt for a cheap seat. I had to be within 100 miles and not see Paul. This could be it ... Just like the last 4 times I said that!!

So, realistically, what is the cheapest price for a ticket in the nosebleed? It's really hard for a family to afford to go see him these days. I realize he's a Beatle and seeing him is worth it and he is basically beating the scalpers at their own game. I remember seeing him at the Pontiac Silverdome in the Off The Ground tour. I was able to get fifth row for $59 I believe. Back then they called it "Golden Circle". I know a lot of scalpers would get these seats and easily sell them for a $1000 or more. I actually camped out all night in the winter to get those tickets. I'm hoping to get some seats for the second show at an affordable price.

The cheapest tickets available are $59.50. Good luck tomorrow! I saw Paul at the Off the Ground show as well and paid $35 to be up on the side. It was a great show. Saw the One on One tour last fall in Grand Rapids and it's very good too.

Welp - going to night number 2 - by myself - center stage upper level row 5. Glad I got the cheapest seats (minus the numerous fees)
-
Happy to get tickets for both Detroit shows. Managed to get first row in the mezzanine for both. Now have to save money in case there are UK/Europe shows ...if not, will have to settle for the Stones in Oct.
-
THAT was a lot easier than getting tickets for the first show! I got in right away & saw the tickets I wanted...done in 5 minutes!
