Dawn:
Wow!!! that must have surprised " Y'ALL " [ see i'm getting used to that one now !! ] when the astronauts came out on stage !!! . You were lucky to be there to see that Diane .
Dawn, I cannot wait to hear you say "y'all" in your proper English accent. Next visit... promise..okay? Having the astronauts on stage was very surreal and probably the only time I'll ever see a whole crew in one place.
Ok Di , i'll have to practice saying " y'all " ...... but somehow i don't think it will sound quite right with my accent , but it will give you a laugh anyway

Dawn, I had an amazing time!!!! Both Houston and Dallas were rockin'!! In Houston, they added "Midnight Special" to the playlist (Leadbelly's song about being in jail in Houston usually performed during the sound checks). And after they played Good Day Sunshine, the Space Shuttle Discovery astronauts came out on stage!! Each one was introduced to a roar of applause. It was sooo cool!!! In Dallas, the opening music changed (won't spoil it for ya'). Paul was in rare form. A man in the front row was eating popcorn and Paul commented that he was hungry and it looked really good so the man offered it to him. Security took the popcorn bucket to Paul who started eating the popcorn and shared it with the band. Afterwards, he gave the bucket back. It was so funny!!! During Brian's introduction, he mentioned it was Syd's birthday (his guitar tech) so on the count of three, the audience yelled "Happy Birthday Syd!" Oh and btw....all that practicing paid off....Brian nailed "y'all".....
Wow!! Thanks. Have they done Midnight Special as part of the set before in that part of the world or was that totally new to TX?

What do you mean the *OPENING MUSIC CHANGED?* What did he play??? I was suppose to attend the Dallas concert with husband with Fan Asylum. But I came down with the flu earlier in the week so I had to cancel. I was in no condition to travel, let alone pass the germ around. I wanted to be in good health for Vegas.......which turned out to be a bust! I bought tickets for both nights through Great Tickets and whomever they were buying the tickets from never produced my tickets in row 3 for either night. BIG DEAL they returned my money and gave me tickets to seats that didn't do me any good, at the last minute........I never would have drove all the way to Vegas when I could have gone to shows much closer to IL and had better seats.

I?m just back from LA where I saw Paul?s last 2 shows at The Staples Centre. Wow, wow, wow!!! Both shows were amazing and we had fantastic seats both nights. I screamed and sang my way through Too May People, cried through Jenny Wren, and giggled my way through English Tea [have you all noticed Abe?s antics during that one?? ]. Paul was in fantastic voice and the band sounded better than ever. Brian, as always, put on a superb performance and it was so cool to see him on stage with Paul again. Someone from our Fan Asylum group passed out ?Follow Me, Paul? signs which our group held up during that song, and ?thank you? signs for the encore. It was fun to be part of a big Macca-loving group like that. I was sad when it was all over, but I?m keeping my fingers crossed like everyone else for more shows soon. I got to see a bit of LA this time, including the Tar Pits, which have been on my ?to visit? list for ever. Did some shopping and almost had to be surgically removed from Macy?s. Met up with some friends that I had met on my last trip to LA. Got to celebrate my birthday in La La Land and made some great new friends [hi Ken!]. Can?t wait to go back for more!!
