Great commercial of Coca Cola Argentina... With Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start The Fire"...
(I want those arms!!!)I liked that!!
I attended the '94 World Cup and went to the Romania-Argentina game. There were a bunch of Argentnia fans sitting nearby and they had the drums banging and doing that motion with their arms. I started doing it too (you can't help but get caught up in it!), but I had my hand in a fist. One of them came to me and spoke in spanish (I didn't understand) and he pointed to my fist, then he showed me his hand and began doing that motion with his hand opened. Ah!
He gave me the thumbs up when I started doing it with my hand opened.
Great video.

Anyone/everyone can make changes up until kickoff.
Just a reminder that a winner will be declared after the 1st Round ends, which will be after Friday's matches are completed. As mentioned in the beginning, the winner will receive nothing.
Okay, maybe some congratulations and praise by whoever wants to.
We'll wipe all slates clean and begin from scratch once the 2nd Round starts up on Saturday. Same rules/scoring method. Open to everyone here, there and everywhere.
We'll go from Saturday all the way through to the Final on July 9th and another winner will be declared. I'll post up the matchups for each round as they are confirmed.

Sergeant_Pepper:
Costa Rica - Poland 0-3
thank you Christoph for a kind prediction
but Poland is absolutely uncapable of winning
I'll support Germany from now on (we have three Poles there in the team! Łukasz Podolski can speak Polish quite well. He has a German accent, but he speaks fluently
)

Well, we'll see about that. I think now that there's nothing left to lose but their honour, they want to show to the world and to themselves that they're not that bad after all!
I suppose, though, that this will be the farewell game for coach Paweł Janas!

Good idea (no wonder I say that, though!
). Thank you, Paweł!
Well, we have two Polish-borns with Miroslaw Klose and Lukas Podolski - I suppose you mean Tim Borowski with the third one, but he was born in Neubrandenburg, and there's probably not much Polish left in him, except for the name!
Both Klose and Podolski can speak fluent Polish and have done so with each other in the national team.

Oh my!
No football withdrawal for me. I'm already looking forward to the upcoming European season.
Wanna see Barcelona rip apart Real Madrid and Chelsea again and go on to become the first side to win consecutive European Cups during the "Champions League" era. It would place the club on a level that others in future will strive to duplicate. Very tough to win consecutive Champions League trophies today. Having said that, I still would rather have the old style European Cup back as I believe it was tougher for a club to win the trophy in the old system than the current one.
You follow club football, Andrea1? btw, 2006 World Cup should've been in South Africa, not Germany. Long story on that one.
