I think the sexiest player Brazil had before Kaká was Hideraldo Bellini

Hi Stef, at least somebody misses me in this world
I wish I was in Germany to insult some Australians. "Ão Ão Ão Brasil não é Japão"
How is everything there?

WOW! I really wouldn't have expected Germany to beat Ecuador 3-0. They even played quite well (I was able to watch the first half at work)! The downside is that Germany will probably face Argentina in the quarter finals if they beat Sweden. On the other hand I'm now inclined to believe that under the right circumstances Germany could be able to beat Argentina. And with Pawel's support, what could possibly go wrong?
Enough with the dribble, here are my utterly fruitless predictions for Wednesday: Portugal - Mexico 2-2 Iran - Angola 0-0 Holland - Argentina 1-3 Ivory Coast - Serbia and Montenegro 1-0

You´re crazy? Germany cant beat Argentina!!! It´s easier Gana to beat Argentina than Germany. Brasil is the only team able to beat Argentina, we can make 4X0 against our "hermanos", LOL. J/K
Tomorrow Portugal 3 - Mexico 1 Iran 1 - Angola 1 Holland 2- Argentina 2 Ivory Coast 0- Serbia and Montenegro 1

I don't know. Argentina has made a very strong impression so far while Brasil has... well... not. They usually still win, but I have a feeling that Argentina has good chances of winning the World Cup. But I'm always open to surprises, of course...

yes, I think it´s not that difficult to beat Servia e Montenegro. Let´s see if they will do the same against England or a BIG team.
BTW I love surprises, and I love when Brazil is at least efficient. To be champion you need goals and LUCK. Maybe that´s why I have 5 stars on my breast, and I´m ready to conquer another, in Germany.

I've been lurking on this thread for quite a while now, since I didn't get started here in the beginning.
Anyway, just got back from watching the ENG-SWE match ending in the same manner which has been the norm the last 38 years
Few free kicks and dirty fouls this time - you could tell nobody wanted to take any risks. However, I think it will be quite difficult for Sweden to take Germany on home turf, especially with an injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic - and then (I suppose) the Argentina locomotive will come a-churning
through whichever team is in their path. This is definitley not the same Argentina as last time 'round, but it will be interesting to see how they fare against Holland.

I love to see Holland and their orange uniform!!! Argentina will suffer.

Paraguay 2-0 Trinidad/Tobago 1 Sergeant_Pepper / Paraguay - Trinidad and Tobago 1-0 Group B totals 0 Sergeant_Pepper
That's impossible. If I get one point for the prediction of Paraguay - Trinidad & Tobago, then how can my Group B totals be 0?
The overall standing should then also be 29 and not 28. My predictions for today: Portugal - Mexico 1-1 Iran - Angola 0-1 Holland - Argentina 1-2 Ivory Coast - Serbia and Montenegro 0-1

Hmmm. That's a good question.

Player of the Tournament so far HAS to go to Ronaldo. I'm sure Michelle will agree with that.

I hope I`ll do better with my predictions today. I`m like Zidane; still good at times, but the magic is definitely gone!
