A slice of pizza
-
Sitting on a warm, tranquil Tuscan summers evening eating a pizza in a restaurant in San Gimignano or Volterra overlooking hillsides full of olive trees and vines whilst drinking a fine Italian champagne or chilled white, recovering from a busy day lying by the pool. And to think the current crisis has pushed the price of the average family holiday up by £500 - £800........looks like Bognor again..... :

David, Happy New Year!! You certainly come up with the most romantic scenarios I have ever heard Sounds terrific!! How are you? Hope all is well with you and yours

Claudia611 Hello there Hooded Claudy......HAPPY NEW YEAR!!...... How are thee and thine? I trust you had a good one and behaved yourself. What, you didn't!...excellent, what's the point of being good...... .. Anyway tis I here in the bowels of Northern Ireland still recovering from the mother in law and brother in law lying on their lazy asses and eating us out of house and home whilst providing and doing nothing.......and I mean NOTHING! They didn't even play with the little rugrat or give us a chance to go out for the night.....gits! They drank us dry as well then scarpered without even offering any money towards the whole expense (they gave the wife's older brother (the golden child) gallons of drink, boxes and boxes of chocs and lots of wonga a couple of years ago when we went there for Crimbo.....bar stewards!!). They even sat on their bums and watched the fire go out whilst me and the trouble and strife slaved to look after them..... . The whiff is not happy and is thinking of cancelling her membership to her own family.... So now we are planning on looking after ourselves next Crimbo......perhaps in a snow covered cabin in the Canadian wilderness, Vermont or the Alps if we can gather enough money together. I am on go slow this week as I feel under the weather and if I don't take it easy then no one else will help me........I am an old crumbly aren't I?

David, I am well now, thank you....was a little under the weather myself, just recovering from a head cold this past week. It's good to hear your words again, as usual you have me grinning ear to ear with your family Crimbo stories I hadn't seen much of you lately, but figured you were away on Holiday. Anyway, it's good to have you back and feel betta' soon, okay? All the best...... Claudia
