Why spoil the great concert tradition of rushing to the toilets to change as soon as you buy your t-shirt? I prefer the other one where long term fans wear their oldest most faded concert t-shirt like a badge of honour showing how long they've been watching Paul in concert...... It's great fun t-shirt spotting ahead of the show - Wings tees predominate. 'fess up everybody, what's your oldest tee? Martin
-
OK WINGS OVER AMERICA 1976 SHIRT FLOWERS IN THE DIRT JACKET ETC ETC

I could barely fit my arm into my 76 Wings shirt(slight exageration) but it looks like it was made for a baby, lol

AN XL IN 1976 IS A SMALL IN TODAYS MARKET. I JUST HAVE MINE AS A MOMENTO OF A GREAT SHOW! AND THE FIRST TIME I SAW MACCA. THE FLOWERS SHIRT STILL FITS AND THE DRIVING USA TOO
-
My Wings Over America black T is really cool & I do wish it fit. I was thinking of getting a patterned print sewn into the side seams to make it larger! There's a guy at Beatlefest that sells Wings shirts!
-
I have the same one, and the Wings Japan tour shirt that never happened the guy is a friend of mine. He has an ebay store so you can order a bigger one.

Pick a T shirt. I have so many Paul & Beatles T shirts I could start a shop. My all time favourite Paul one is the Back In The World T shirt. Picture of Paul in that Purple jacket ( Sigh ). My oldest & first one is the New World Tour. I never saw Wings at all unfortunately. Too busy raising children. Oh how I wish they had done T shirts back in the sixties. I would have one of the 1964 Hammersmith Odeon show. Would not fit of course D

My oldest is my "Biker Like A Icon" t-shirt from the 1993 tour.

Didn't buy a Wings Over America t-shirt because I wasn't going to spend the money on a shirt that didn't fit - they only had one size and it was way too big for me. Instead I bought a bootleg concert shirt outside, saved money, and it fit properly. I'm sure I still have it stashed away somewhere.

I had THAT EXACT SAME t-Shirt! I got it at a Wings concert in Philadelphia in 1976 ("Wings Over America") It finally simply wore out! Nice to see it again !

Never got one last time around during the US Tour, but I think I'm gonna have to for this one, seeing as it's kind of an historic show and all... maybe the program too... I'm gonna need to have a yard sale.
-
My oldest tour tees are from 1989/90 - shocking to think that's already 20 years ago!!!! I missed Wings when they came through Chicago as I was only 12 at the time and my parents wouldn't let me go... My oldest "general" McCartney shirts that I still own/wear are the Wings Over America promo shirt (MSG staff on front) purchased in 78, a Venus & Mars promo shirt ("It's All Balls" ) bought around the same time, and my McCartney II promo shirt from 1980. Many many more purchased since then. Going to be impossible to decide which shirts to wear next month to the Citi Field gigs - one will certainly be from The Liverpool Sound show last June; the other, who knows?

Hey, I've never seen PAul in concert before, going to thethird citi field show, I was just wondering, since Paul technically isn't on tour right now, will there stil be a merch booth?

Yes, merchandise has been available for all his recent concerts at Coachella, The Joint and the David Lynch Foundation benefit concerts. Even when he did his promotional secret show concerts for Memory Almost Full t-shirts were available - but on those occasions they were handed out free to all those that attended. Martin

I'd be absolutely gobsmacked if there wasn't a merch booth ... Good question would be has he ever done a show where merch wasn't available (except for possibly in the early Wings days)? All I know is there was a booth set up at last year's Liverpool Sound concert and that was a one-off show for Paul. And Martin just clarified the situation re his recent shows (thanks for that, btw). I feel incredibly confident there will be plenty of opportunities to lighten the wallet at the shows next month, so don't worry!
-
ok, thanks, I would be pretty mad if they didn't at least have shirts...I've already got friends and family asking me to get them stuff, maybe they'll have keychains
-
There were T-shirts, etc. in Vegas, so I'm guessing there will be in NYC, as well.
