thanks, david,i hope my old p.c. will let me check out some of all that stuff things you place here are like a crash course in all things english an advanced course, professor you should teach cinema at 'uni'
-
SusyLuvsPaul Funny you should say that. My first degree was in the visual arts.....and that course included a lot of film....and now I spend most of my time working and documenting/digitising documentaries, home movies and Victorian and Edwardian photographs, negatives and daguerreotypes (not paintings and sculptures as I'd really like). Funny thing was even though I'm not massively interested in them I actually was quite good at that sort of film stuff at Uni and have found it fascinating.......films and photos from the Suez Canal being built and 19th century Egyptians standing in front of the pyramids to bombers over the channel attacking convoys during WW2.....all sorts of great stuff. Probably a bit too late to change direction now though. I have tried teaching but the ridicule and the missiles put me off and that was just from the lecturers never mind the students.....

The Cheviot Hills of Northumberland. They're wonderful to walk. I think that other guy (Ken) just talked too fast! Oh, and I loved the Beatle outtakes....my favorite part was when John croooned out "MISTER MOONLIGHT"....oooh, that was great. I also liked "This Boy"....nice! Thanks.
