I'm in BB7, 2nd or 3rd row, [not sure how they do it at Hampden] after the little ticket mix up I mentioned a page back.

This should work. We'll post about it again early June ) Maybe we can all meet before the gig.

Sounds good. I'm taking the whole family, the date happily coincides with Father's Day and my dad is a big Beatles fan. I currently have four spare tickets from trying to get the best seats haha so I need to get rid of those as well before it. I think we should definitely post this again at the start of June and get as many people on board as possible.

Yes, i'm hoping to go to see Revolver on the saturday night, so we could meet for that, or maybe a wee drink before the gig. Can't wait to see him, I couldn't resist looking at the set list, but kind of wish I could have waited. Hope he doesn't make too many changes, though he'll probably drop one for Mull of Kintyre (if we get it, i'm sure we will)
-
Count me in & I will tell all my crowd to start singing Happy Birthday when he comes on. Doing Revolver as well the evening before )
-
Gonna try to catch Revolver myself. They sid tickets would be available online 2 weeks ago but they're still not there. If anyone knows how to get a ticket up front, let me know. He's not gonna drop a song for Mull, he's gonna ADD Mull ) (I hope)

When Pauls sings Michelle in France it is always a bonus, he never drops any song. So I'm quite confident that Mull of Kintyre will be an additional song (if he sings it : ) Same for me about Revolver. I'm still waiting to buy my ticket on line.

I'm flying over from the US to catch him in Glasgow - I'm so excited! I saw him 3 times in '09!

"...I'm flying over from the US to catch him in Glasgow - I'm so excited! I saw him 3 times in '09!..." That's awesome!! You couldn't catch him during his US shows this year? If you're a Beatles fan, get a ticket for the Beatles cover band Revolver that does a gig in Glasgow the night before Paul's gig.

"....Same for me about Revolver. I'm still waiting to buy my ticket on line..." Mail the pub and ask them to reserve a ticket for you, did that yesterday and it worked out well.

Unfortunately due to work schedules I couldn't get to see him in the US this time around... Plus, we've always wanted to see him on his homeland. ...and he never plays Mull when he comes to NY so I figure my chances are pretty good this time - I also want to see beautiful Scotland! Could you provide me details of Revolver, we love to go to that gig! cheers, Andy

"... Could you provide me details of Revolver, we love to go to that gig!..." Cool, another one going to the Revolver gig. I think the place will be packed with Macca fans that Sat night )

Revolver is a Scottish tribute band. I saw them 2 weeks ago in the north of France. They sing Eleanor Rigby better than Paul and his band, their lead guitar is not ridiculous at all with While my guitar gently weeps and above all they play an uncredible Tomorrow never knows. I hope there will be enough places for everybody.

"... They sing Eleanor Rigby better than Paul and his band..." Hmm. Is that possible? ) I like the acoustic version of ER like they played during the Goodevening tour.
-
Hi, how can I find out where to get tickets for Revolver?

They should be able to reserve the tickets for you, and you can collect on the night. We went to a gig there in December, we booked dinner and gig package, and they just had our names at the door for the gig. Here's some contact details for Maggie Mays. http://www.maggiemays.info/contact/ The place is pretty small, i've a feeling it's going to be jam packed on the 19th!

Thank You! I'm setting up my trip now, this will work nicely! I'm visting Scotland till the following Saturday. Most likely staying in Edinburgh before the concert then touring the country - any suggestions on where to stay and where to go will be greatly appreciated. cheers, Andy

You looking for advice on where to stay in Edinburgh, or Scotland in general while you're travelling? I'd recommend going onto the Tripadvisor website which is a really good travel website. I've used the forums for advice when travelling to New York and Vegas and found it really helpful. There is forums for each city and there is also a general Scotland forum. There is also a section for hotel reviews http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotels-g186485-Scotland-Hotels.html Here's a section for things to do in Scotland http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attractions-g186485-Activities-Scotland.html The above are split into different areas of Scotland, and the attractions are also reviewed. Although i'm from Scotland, i've not travelled here much! Hope you find these helpful.
