Eating insects?
-
I have a hard time becoming a vegetarian, but I'm trying to be cosmically conscious, I read somewhere that insects could well be the solution for people like me. There is no direct effect on the climate, and I wouldn't mind eating a juicy steak of insects, - seriously, but do you think Paul would take this as meat-free dish? Or is it cosmically wrong? I can't live without proteins and juiciness, and veggies just don't give me enough of that... I'm sorry ops: I'm french and I admit eating foie de canard at least once a year, but would love to change my habits for the better. Is it ok with insects??

No, Paul wouldn`t take that as a meat-free dish, because it isn`t. Which insects are we talking about here?

There are thousands of species to choose from. The food processing industry can make nice looking sausages out of chicken bone, surely they can make a nice steak out of larvae paste... It's not a question of taste but of cultural habits. Grilled grasshopper is delicious.

Insects are part of the diet in parts of Asia and Africa too. It's not that unusual but "westerners" find them distasteful. But a veggie would not eat bugs.
