Oh my god, it's not long now! I can't wait! I'd love to meet Paul at the airport. Anyone got any ideas on how to go about it/find out/make a guess at his flight arrival? It would be a domestic flight so he might even come into Essendon on a charter, I have no clue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Yeah, I was wondering about that. I can't really see him getting the SkyBus from Tullamarine!
No I guess not but then again, he was spotted on the Tube by himself recently! Mmm, waiting for flights coming in that day wasn't a bad suggestion, but again if he flies private to Essendon it kinda wastes a morning hanging out at Tulla. I would LOVE to be able to meet Paul.

"One very lucky winner will receive a VIP Hot Sound Package... PLUS a meet & greet with Paul McCartney." http://www.gold1043.com.au/win/win-a-vip-sound-check-package-with-paul-mccartney

Funny that it mentions the meet and greet once in that paragraph and never again, not even in the terms and conditions (yes, I read them - I'm a nerd).
-
I think you are right, it sounds like you don't. I entered one via the Today Show that I didn't win but in the terms and conditions, it basically said that if Paul wasn't up to it after the concert, then he was not obligated to conduct the meet and greet. I'm sure Paul would do his utmost and meet these obligations, but that disclaimer gave the competition promoter a 'just in case'.

So, we're next up. I hope everyone had a great time in Perth last night (I'm staying away from the Perth thread in case of spoilers). Anybody going to the airport or doing a limo watch? What's the state of play for the next two days?

McCartney will be triple j on Wednesday. As opposed to what I posted a few days ago, he won’t play 5 songs, he will .. play 5 of his songs on the radio. But the studios are in Sydney, so I’m not sure if it’s live. Broadcast is at 10am.
-
Sadly I have no inside info on flight details and due to work, I will not be plane or limo chasing
If anyone gets any info, please feel free to share in a private message.
On a good note, I am soooo excited, I can't believe it's two sleeps!!! It has come around so quickly.

For anyone that can find this thread & is going to the shows...have a GREAT time!

This will be live from Melbourne.

The triple j show has been pre-recorded backstage at AAMI Park.
You know the drill, any setlist rotation will be posted at my @setlistpeeker account. Any minute now.
-
One On One the setlist from Perth, but the crowd was really going for it in Melbourne, and the band was noticably feeling that energy.

That's Chris Holmes, not Pab. Who was by the way rocking out with friends one row in front of me tonight. And he did play earlier 'Ode To A Koala Bear', which was fun.

Thanks for posting it here for everyone.
