Here’s another one from the Sgt. Pepper launch party that she took kneeling in front of him!

Yes, that is Linda’s horse. Yes, those pics with the RCA Victor dog were circa 2002. I don’t remember that commercial though.
More forearms: (July 28, 1968)
Thanks, Nancy! Another great "forearm pic" Have always liked the "Paul in chains" photos, from the "Mad Day Out" sessions. Here's another one!
His Baby has him locked up in chains! Great photos!

Thanks, Love2Travel! The Beatles song "Chains" does fit here! lol Must have been an old stockade for prisoners at one time, and he saw an interesting theme for a photo shoot.

Thanks, Nancy! Have always loved this photo. And he always wore the most interesting socks! I have a pair of winter socks that almost look like that, lol
Here's a few other photos of Paul and Linda from that day

Whose knee is so close to Linda on the floor? Probably another photographer trying to close in to get a good shot. Never noticed that before! I'm sure Paul and Linda didn't either! lol

Lol! No, those pics were taken on the Thames at a boat docking area. The chains must have been used to secure the boat. I’ve seen pics taken from the other side of the Thames by a fan.

I think this is one Linda took at JFK airport in May 1968.

The flower is missing, but the other jewelry and button are still there. Maybe he gave Linda the flower! Lol!

Thanks Nancy, for clarifying that! Definitely makes better sense!!

Here’s John, Paul and “Magic Alex” arriving at JFK May 11, 1968 (coincidently my 13th birthday!)
-
On The Tonight Show. Can’t believe Johnny Carson was off that night! As a 13 year old, I stayed up way past my bedtime to watch this!
-
Love all the photos from JFK Airport, Nancy! I think Linda must have given him the flower, too
And thanks for sharing the Tonight Show pic! That was a terrible interview for them, but it's great you remember seeing it live.
Knowing the celebrity of the Beatles, it would have been worth it for Johnny Carson to fly back immediately to host this interview... I can't understand why he didn't, Ed Sullivan would have! Made me wonder if there was a reason Johnny wasn't there... maybe he was angry that they weren't on his show in 1964? I read somewhere that he wanted them on his show but they were limited for time.
In addition to Joe Garagiola (well-known sportscaster at the time), Tallulah Bankhead was a very poor choice to be Ed McMahon's substitute, no fun at all, she made things worse! Her dramatic and hysterical voice... ugh! I can picture John imitating her later, and having a good laugh with Paul. Anyway, NBC should have used Goldie Hawn from Laugh In, instead of Tallulah, that would have made things a lot more interesting.. and fun!
Why the execs at NBC flopped on this one, with their poor decisions, we'll never know...
Found footage on YouTube of their Tonight Show appearance.

This could have been in July 1968 when Paul went to visit Cyn and Julian and wrote the beginning of Hey Jude on the way there.

Always felt sad for Cynthia and Julian, when John took up with Yoko. Paul, George and Ringo had known Cynthia for a long time, she and Julian were part of the Beatles family, so can understand how Paul would have been concerned for them... especially when Paul, George and Ringo weren't as close to Yoko, even though they wanted to be supportive of John as a friend.
This is changing the subject, but found this photo on Instagram of Paul with his brother Mike, whose birthday was last Sunday. Always thought in the McCartney family that Paul resembles his father quite a bit, while Mike seems to resemble their mother Mary. (Photo credit: pipesof.paul on instagram)
