It's his choice, of course, he has to look how he wants to, in a style that he likes and is most comfortable for him. He always looks great!

Cough if you will, but I happen to think he looks wonderful with the silver burns and all and is totally swoonworthy.... someday, perhaps when he turns 110, he may start to look a little older but he'll still be as cute as a button
(Can picture people reading that and going and and ) oh well

I did not say anything about the gray sideburns because I do like those. I just don't agree that he ALWAYS looks great. I'd rather say most of the time. Over the years we've had pics here that have been questionable...bad hair color, in need of a cut, etc. But we all have those days.

Oh I understood what you were saying. Sometimes my inner fangirl just comes out, lol, and when a person doesn't have the adoring fangirl glasses on I suppose they would express how they see him in a different way... but I really do think he always looks great no matter what.

Most excellent choice, Nancy! He's always been such a cutie. It's wonderful you've been a fan since the days of Beatlemania! Looks like that was taken at the DC Coliseum in 1964.

Yep, Feb. 11, 1964. And this is Feb. 1968:

Portrait of Paul, taken at Desert Trip 2016 by Alistair Morrison. It was part of the "‘The Adoration Trilogy – Searching for Apollo" exhibit of rock star legends shown at the Maddox Gallery in London, in November 2017. A portrait of Ringo Starr was also shown. Hosted by Alistair Morrison and Roger Daltrey, proceeds from the exhibit went to Teenage Cancer Trust and Teen Cancer America.
Alistair Morrison wrote about taking Paul's portrait at this link:

Paul McCartney, The Convener
AM: "We needed both Beatles for this, so we approached Paul and Ringo. The Who were playing at the Desert Trip festival and they'd arranged for me to have a designated studio backstage. Paul was there, so we made it easy - I met him outside the McCartney compound and I walked him down to the studio. There's a jovial nature that you can see in him, in the way you could see throughout the Sixties, and that humour was prevalent. But I was conscious that he was about to go on stage. The only thing that slightly bothered me was that he had a lozenge, obviously for his voice, so a lot of pictures had him sucking on this lozenge. But really, what am I going to say? 'Paul, I know you're on stage in a minute, but can you take the lozenge out?'"

The pics from that photo shoot always remind me of KO...since one was her avatar. She hasn't been around much.

Yeah - has she been on this new board yet?
Here’s one with something for everyone! Who was it liked him in black t-shirts? He could wear a burlap sack and still look hot! Lol!

No, don't think I've seen her around.
Black Tshirt obsession *was* someone...I don't remember either but she probably isn't here either.

Ok, we've talked about his beard, and forearms, why not t-shirts too? lol Thanks for posting, Nancy!
And if KathrynO is lurking, hopefully she'll see we're waving hi, and come back and post
