This is another yellow painting, not sure if this is Linda also? Somehow I can see her in this, though, as Paul probably saw her... a strong, shining person, always there for him, and showing courage through her illness.

Yellow Linda with Piano, by Paul, 1988. Love this! It's like he captured her listening to his music. Would love to buy a print of this.
Yes, always liked this one. I think it's been posted over in the Linda thread ages ago.

I checked his "Paintings" book & it says "Large Yellow Face" (how creative...lol) was beginning to look like Linda but it was not a portrait.

I was surprised when I read that this one was dedicated to HM. There's supposed to be an etched figure of a female nude in the heart.

Ha! Looks more like a broken heart to me.

Interesting! Can see the female nude figure now, but also definitely see a heart that's almost split in two. Could be an apple as well, perhaps to symbolize forbidden fruit? lol
There are so many interesting interpretations a person can find when looking at a piece of fine art. I've noticed paintings become more alive, and capture your interest when you can see them live at a gallery. You don't get the same impressions when seeing photos of paintings in a book.

Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking!

It's funny that we all see someone different. At one point, I thought this yellow face was Paul...now I really wondering?!?
I know I've recently changed my mind on the Twin Freaks cover.

From the Fireman!
I know the painting in this pic is called something like Red Towel, it's one of his beach paintings.

Yes Beach Towel, that's it... It looks like a really large painting too
Would really love to see a new book with more of Paul's paintings... I really love Paul's paintings, they fascinate me!!!

Oh, me too! There's always something interesting you can see in each one of them! He probably still enjoys painting, and has many pieces that we haven't seen yet. Hopefully a companion book of his newer work can be published in the not too distant future.

This is a photo of Paul I haven't seen before. Love his flowing mane of hair here, and beard of course!

I was gonna post this one the other day but I thought his hair looked a bit photoshopped in the mullet area or back collar area. lol

Yeah, I had the same thought, lol... that maybe someone put Paul's face and beard on Barry Gibb's head
He doesn't look bad though
Who knows, maybe this isn't photoshopped, lol. Perhaps he had hair this long in Scotland, when Mary was a baby?

Funny that the front page shows "last post by Calico" and yet there is no post by Calico.

It's probably because she edited the quote in my post, to change the photo to a link.

That is because I was testing something; I deleted the post afterwards.
