Hey everyone!
Basically, it was incredible!! A wonderful day!!! The new songs are excellent and yes a few changes to the set list. Everyone was so happy to be there and the studio was fantastic. We got to speak to both Johnny and Orlando too, both really lovely!!
We weren’t allowed phones in the building but the whole thing was filmed and Mary McCartney took lots of crowd photos too, so that’s something to look for!
He told some interesting stories about Abbey Road which I hadn’t heard before, including smoking in a room out back so that George Martin didn’t find out! He also went to a really old piano in the corner and played Lady Madonna. Explained the piano belonged to someone way back when, and he used to play on it back in the day too.
Overall an amazing day, it’s all a bit too much really! Still can’t believe it!
Sounds wonderful, glad to hear he told you some interesting stories about Abbey Road. Really glad you liked the new songs, that is the best part to me. Must have been really cool to meet Johnny Dep and Orlando Bloom.

Didn't George Harrison produced the song by Brute Force titled "King of F--?"

They are divided nicely when I quote them (5 vids) but your post has them all mashed together! Another lovely website glitch!

Paul and Nancy look great !! BTW - Showing some grey hair looks good on him. Johnny Depp looks terrible, how sad .
I don’t think Johnny looks terrible! He was just at ComicCon on Saturday totally in character for his latest role:
Now THAT is a terrible look!

I am so jealous, but your entry video was great and you deserved it! Did anyone get to hug Paul or talk to to him? Were all the winners from the U.K.?

I agree. I posted some of their pics over in PM pics...lol. Yeah, what is up with Johnny Depp. I read something about his looks weeks ago but they brushed it off & didn't really say anything. Is he sick?
I thought I read something it might be for a movie role but I don't think that is it. Rolling Stone magazine had big article on him and believe it or not he is basically broke. Orlando Bloom did not look that great either.
Man, you guys are being critical today! What was wrong with the way Orlando looked?! Hey, nobody mentioned how fantastic James looked for goodness sake! Looks like he has lost weight.

One aspect of the Beatles-heavy set-list which I find intriguing is that three of the songs (One After 909, I've Got A Feeling & Get Back...none of which were recorded at Abbey Road incidentally) are all from the Let It Be album. I wonder if Paul is using this new tour (2018 / 2019) as a way of promoting a 50th anniversary issue of Let It Be (album / film) in 2020?
