Yeah, that is a good one! It was only about a month since Mary's birth, and was amazing to me that she was able to get her figure back so quickly!

To put it quite simply, Linda is/was and will always be the ULTIMATE ROCK N' ROLL WIFE! Linda is/was and will always be the greatest Rock n' Roll wife Rock n' Roll ever produced! It doesn't get any better than that!

Hi jl4761! Yes that is so true! And don't know what Paul would have done without her during those dark days of depression he suffered after the Beatles broke up! She was familiar with rock culture and musicians even before she met Paul, so that was a plus in being able to live with a musician and understanding and adapting into his world. At the time they got together, she was the best thing that ever happened to Paul up to that time, with the exception of his being in The Beatles of course.
Hope you and L2T have lots of fun at ACL!

I remember Erma Bombeck made some kind of a joke once about how most women have to continue wearing maternity clothes up to a year after their babies are born, lol
This is another great photo of P & L at the London premiere of "Isadora," March 4, 1969. This film was about the life of dancer Isadora Duncan, and starred Vanessa Redgrave.

Agree with you, jl4761! It took a special, kind and understanding person at that time to be able to live with the pressures that come with being famous. Paul has remarked in several interviews that her kindness to others was one of the first things that impressed him about her.
Know you and L2T will have a great time at ACL!

Hi LadyLeslie! Linda was very special to the entire world and is irreplaceable! Many people have asked Paul why he mostly plays Beatles music and not music from his solo career. Maybe its because people would rather hear Beatles music over his solo music. Maybe its because its very painful for Paul seeing that his solo music brings back memories of his lovely Linda! Only Paul knows why.
Love2Travel and I are going to have a great time at the Austin City Limits next month. We just hope that it doesn't rain!

^ Great pic, taken by Paul I’m sure. Never saw that before. I was just thinking earlier how she would have been 77 today. R.I.P. Linda
