Hi everyone! If you really want to get into the music of the early 70's as well as the entire 70's decade, purchase the complete MIDNIGHT SPECIAL DVD Boxset as well as the complete Don Kirshner's Rock Concert DVD collection!
Awesome! I was thinking today about the place and era I would like to have lived...London from 1967 - 1974. That was an unbelievable time for music and culture in that city. I would have loved to live there those years!
I would too! Actually even earlier, from 1962 and beyond. Of course I was only 7 then, which would present a problem for “Beatle watching!”
I was only a year old in 1962!
And in another 25 years you’ll be peeing in your diapers once again!
Does that mean that you'll be peeing in your diapers in 18 years seeing that you were 7 years old in 1962?
Nope, I had surgery in 2010 that will prevent that from ever happening! Seriously, it’s called a Tension-free transvaginal tape procedure. TVT for short. Highly recommend it for any of you ladies having bladder leakage problems. Talk to your GYN doctor about it.
So you don't have that time of the month anymore do you?
Not since 1998 when I was 43 and had a hysterectomy! I think we are violating HIPAA laws here! (and we are seriously OT!)
Not if you willingly volunteer it!
I was jk. When I used to work in the O.R. they were always drilling us about HIPAA.
That God you're retired now, no need to worry anymore!
Well, nobody should go around talking about someone else’s medical problems or history without their permission. Technically you could get sued. But newscasters do it all the time, so I don’t know - maybe they cleared it with their publicist first.
There's no such thing as confidentiality anymore, everyone at work knows about the employee except the employee!

I'm a bit bored with it (70's and early 70's music), and like to explore new alternative/indie music, discover new artists I didn't know about. That doesn't apply to Macca music. I love all the different time periods of his.

It's easy to look back with rose-colored glasses, but there was an awful lot of utter garbage in the early '70s as well. There were the awful bubblegum sounds of Bobby Sherman, the Osmonds, etc. Cher had a run of hits with truly excruciating records like "Half-Breed." And don't forget all the crap hits by artists who mostly didn't last very long -- songs like "Seasons in the Sun," "Chevy Van," etc. Every musical era has both good stuff and junk. Mostly we like to remember the good stuff.

I think I have the 45 of Half-Breed!
