Paul McCartney 2019 Tour Rumours

I saw Bob post on FB 6 hours ago:
I've been to many soundchecks and I sam fine with where we are positioned. I'm sitting the whole show in first 5 rows so plenty opportunity to see him up close
In Salt Lake, we sat in the 3rd row during soundcheck in Rio Tinto ( I think name of stadium)
I replied:
Robert Gannon, you are so tall Bob, you could see him no matter what!

Iâm also anxious for further dates. Am worried he might drop the live horns before I get to hear them. Anyone heard or read anywhere about Paulâs decision to use them? It might indicate whether theyâre a special treat for the Freshen Up Tour and not future dates. With my luck he always drops the things I like and repeats the ones Iâm not as fond of until they become trite.
The horns & a few songs from his new album are about the ONLY things that are FRESHENED UP.

That's the problem though. When you've been to so many you don't really care. BUT for some people it's a once in a lifetime experience that they have had to save up for & when they see where that are seated for the soundcheck they tend to be really pissed off.

Exactly! When I was in Memphis (my 1st SC) I ended up seated in the 2nd row of people (we were right by the soundboard which was really far back) and we stood only when he wanted to read our signs. Didnât call anyone up though. On the bright side, Memphis had the BEST food - all kinds of pasta, salad and even a âmake-your-own sundaeâ bar! Atlantaâs food sucked both times! (2014/2017)

He missed my state this time around, and I can't tell you how bummed I am about it.

From your mouth to Maccaâs ears. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I thought maybe it was that, but the person didnât even name their state! Oh, well!

I guess it could apply to any state that he has skipped.

Letâs see, Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota...?

Sorry people! Yeah, the post about  more shows. Been to 2 shows already but need some more.

I would think there will be some European shows this Autumn and next year beginning work on a new studio album.

Sure sounds like it.

Last year the November/December concerts were announced in July, so maybe an announcement can still happen anytime between now and the next couple of months?
There are several European countries that have not seen the "Freshen Up" tour yet, for example.

The post on his Instagram said the show at Dodger Stadium was the end of the tour. So at least for this year, I don't think any more shows will happen.
Paul seems to have slowed down a bit: his pattern used to be more than 30 shows in the year, but he did 18 shows in 2018 and 21 shows in 2019; similar amount in both years, so perhaps it's his new pattern. He has already toured Canada, USA, Japan, South America and 6 countries in Europe. I think Australia is too far way for him to return, since he was there not so long ago.
It's time for the man get some rest and really "freshen up" things for next year.

I compared Paul's setlist from the 2014 Out There concert at Petco Park and the 2019 Freshen Up concert at the same...the only repeats were Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five, Maybe I'm Amazed, I've Just Seen A Face, Blackbird, Here Today, Queenie Eye, Lady Madonna, Eleanor Rigby, Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite, Something, Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, and the finish of set one -
- Band on the Run
- Back in the U.S.S.R.
- Let It Be
- Live And Let Die
- Hey Jude
For the encore both shows had Helter Skelter, Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight, and The End.
Out of 38 songs, there were 20 repeats. And a total of 6 numbers I have never seen him do before. Given that the energy level, the performance, and the production were much better than 5 years ago, it felt pretty "fresh" to me!
