This is probably one of the best photos ever of the Grandude!!! WOW
Reading to all of the chillers...it's a GREAT photo of how I've always imagined Paul... a beautiful and kind family man. Thanks for sharing the photos for those of us who could not go, they were very well done!

Thanks for the Zimbio photos link, joyce! Thought this was a lovely one from your link. Not sure who the lady is, but love her dress and how she and the children are color coordinated with Paul. Must have been such a special day for them!

Great Zimbio link! Thanks!
Leslie
The 2 kids seem to be dressed in Sgt Pepper outfits in that pic.

Just got back - i hadn't said on here we got tickets as i was actually unsure i'd able to make it down until a few days ago, as i had something i was really struggling to cancel. But we made it!
Took my 2 year old, he managed shyly to say the queenie eye chorus to Paul who then said it back to him and shook his hand! Course in all this i didn't get to shake his hand so on the way out felt like a bad mum when i suddenly thought the selfish thought of "oh i didn't touch him"!! but i'm over it... (Kind of, my sister was next after me and she got a hug!) So happy my son got to MEET Paul, something i thought would never ever get to happen, what with the age difference and things..
Good to meet you Gordy
And the lady with those kids in the photos was the first person to meet him, all the press were there for the first 5 or so people then packed up a few before us (so wont be any pics of us damn!).
I'm shattered, such a long day trip, really proud my son managed it, his first tri to London, and he coped so so well with all those people. And he met Paul!

oh wow Gordy! You got a picture!!!! i didn't think anyone got any as no one was allowed to have bags/phones/cameras? Such a great keepsake!!!!
If by chance anyone sees any pics of a shy 2 year old in a yellow sub t and a tall (but squatted on the floor next to my 2 year old) long haired t shirt wearing shy useless gormless woman, then that's us and please show me a piccie!!Â
(i doubt anyone would, we joined the queue at 12 and there were about 30 people ahead, but were told sooner after by staff to "go away and come back at the front at 3pm" as Paul wanted all the people with children to be seen first, i was happy with where we were and being with "the pack" but it seemed you kind of had to. They were telling anyone with children to come back at 3pm. Paul didn't want the really young kids to be mixed in later. I'd kind of rather had gone in later, you would've got longer to watch him inside when waiting your turn for one thing..! But, it was easier on my little boy, so.. Everyone behind us were more people with kids who would've been too busy with their kids to sneak a quick piccie of Paul with a stranger!! But oh what i would do for a piccie!)

one last post then i need to get to bed Zzzzz but that bloke who always filmes everything Paul does, he usually wears a hat - anyone at a gig/souncheck/event would know who i mean. Does that footage EVER get used on anything?! Cos i know he was filming us today when Paul sang Queenie Eye to my son, but don't hold out any hope of ever seeing it as most of teh stuff i've seen him film at any event never gets used... or does anyone know of a secret paul site i'm missing out on?!?!Â
(If you can't tell i'm happy happy but desperately hoping to find a picture or anything as proof to my memory that we met him, to get past the fact i didn't shake his hand doh!)

Aww thanks Oobu -Â i just did a new post and hadn't seen yours, yes it was wonderful that he got to meet Paul, he sets a pillow up on the floor and uses it as a pretend piano as "performs" Queenie Eye almost daily, all his own idea! So glad he loves Paul, i guess he had little choice with me as mummy BUT he genuinely does love him! Been a terrible year family wise so managing to get there today was such a bonus.
Off to bed, been a long day.

It was fantastic to meet you too! So glad I got to meet a bunch of Fans on the Run yesterday too. Felt so bad for the lady in front as her bag got stolen outside Waterstones about 30 minutes before. Turns out I saw it happen but this other guy & I didnât quite click what was going on until after she realised it was stolen.

So glad Nancy was able to find a photo! If I see any pics that could be of interest, will be sure and post them here! Looks like someone behind Paul was capturing it on video.
