Some pretty weak choices when you consider how many great songs the Beatles (group or solo) wrote about being Sad or Lonely. A couple of them (Act Naturally and Anna) weren't written by the Beatles. And Paul has better "lonely" songs than Man We Was Lonely.
Better choices off the top of my head are:
For No One (Beatles)
Another Day (Paul solo)
Too Much Rain (Paul solo)
Footprints (Paul solo)
There is a place on the poll where you can add your own choices. They don't differentiate between songs written by the Beatles and/or cover versions they did.

I don't think she really had a crush on him! The song was written by Phil Spector, Vini Poncia (who later worked with Ringo during his solo career) and 2 other guys. Read this:
