I had seen it before and "I should have known better!"
Btw, the December 1967 photos are from the 27th. Paul was facing the British press following the criticism of the Magical Mystery Tour film which had been shown on tv the evening before.

^ It is Dec. 1967. There are a bunch of other photos from that day with Martha.
This is Apr. 28, 1964, during rehearsals for A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Thanks, Nancy! I knew I had seen other photos from the same day, including one that was taken with his father. The one of the rehearsal for A Midsummer Night's Dream should be captioned "A Midsummer Night's Dreamy" - he looks absolutely gorgeous!

^ At first I thought that photo was from the day Paul met Peggy Lipton, but then I found this:
Could be the same jacket:

Thanks, Kestrel! If the MMT film had been shown in color maybe the reviews would have been more positive!

Nancy, I believe the photos of Paul with Peggy Lipton, and the small child, were taken in Los Angeles when the Beatles participated in a children's charity event (at the same time they were there for the Hollywood Bowl concert?).. As you already know of course, Deana Martin, Jamie Lee Curtis, Hayley Mills and her sister Juliet, Jimmy Stewart's twin daughters, and Burt Lancaster's children were all there and met them, as well as many other "famous offspring".

Paul looks like the green man with those leaves in his hair...

Yes, it could have been in Beverly Hills or Hollywood, but definitely the L.A. area. Yes, it was the Hollywood Bowl concert that Peggy went to and later met up with Paul in his hotel room. All the details are in her book "Breathing Out." Coincidentally, her daughter with Quincy Jones, Rashida, is on Jimmy Kimmel tonight!

Perhaps she meant the Jolly Green Giant? He's totally veggie!

The Green Men are ancient Celtic religious symbols representing Spring, Revival and Bountiful Harvest. The Green Man found his way into early Christianity and are found in churches and in the UK, men and women dress in leaves for re-creations of ancient festivals and as Morris Dancers, coming into towns and villages and dancing the ancient dances in the streets.

Wonder why he removed the OPP patch?

Backstage at a Rolling Stones concert June 19, 1978. Wonder if Linda felt at all awkward? Doesn't look like it!

The Green Man was a reference to Midsummer Night Dream and the woods. It’s all British
Nice silver epaulettes
