What are fans doing to pass the time during this Coronavirus period?

My wife and I just saw the movie "Greenland"and I would highly recommend it. It's is one ot the many "Disaster" type movies that have been released over the years, but we both found this one to be one of the "better" ones. It stars Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarine (Homeland). The story within the story of a couple who had recently separated and have a 7 year old son. We really liked it and it definitely had you on the edge of your seat.

I went to a good friend's wedding. Everyone in the pews were wearing masks. Also it was every other pew.
The couple are older, so they walked together down the aisle, dressed nice with masks on.
The Pastor took off his mask to speak. When someone did a reading - mask off - back to a pew. Next person, the same. The Pastor even replaced words with the masks of today and COVID words of how they will enter their marriage. And then he said, you may take your mask off and kiss the Bride, Then they went back on.
I know the family and wanted to hug and congratulate... and the best we could do is elbow shake or basically elbow tap. We talked with masks ... so I couldn't fully see them after some years in addition to the COVID stuff for this last year.
There was no food, water, coffee to socialize with. I watched them get married, talked a short time and it was done. It was nice to see a partial of all the people that I knew ... but so much missing in the contact of hugging and even handshakes... This was the first time the Church opened with people since last year. They might do videos or stream.very different, but glad I could be part of being there, even with a mask. The COVID world.

My wife and I just started watching "For All Mankind"on Apple TV this weekend. We've seen the 1st 4 episodes in Season 1. This series (they're just beginning Season 2) is a fictional account of what could have happened if the Russians got to the Moon first that inspired the US to continue the "space race". So far, the stories and acting are quite good. We're probably going to watch Episodes 5 through 8 today. At this point we both like this Series a lot better than the previously shown Sean Penn series.

Have spent a lot of time on the phone with about about 9 friends and family! That has been a lot of talking!
Had a Covid scare because all of my pulse/oxygen levels started getting funny and temp went lower (which it turns out is also a symptom). After an hour or so in one of the Covid highly filtered rooms and being hooked up to a number of machines, it turns out to be some infection but not COVID.
Going for tests to see what’s wrong and focusing on health, lowering salt and waiting for the vaccine!!

So glad that it's not covid. I hope they figure it out & that you are ok.

Thanks so very much Oobu, it’s kind of scary to be sick at this time. Hopefully, it’s that I’ve eaten too much salty food and not exercised as much during Covid. Salad stuff and healthier fresh options, go bad when you’re not shopping every week!! Saying my prayers.
