Love2travel, I reread your post and what you forgot was that I came on here around 2018 and said that I had listened to Rocky Raccoon with earbuds and I conceded and agreed that it was "mining." Toris was just making a cheeky joke about asking him if it was "mountain" or "mining." It's been our running joke.
Too true, Nancy! I think we are both now "mining" converts... although, imagine if that new "Lyrics" book by Paul says something different... ssshh...
It really doesn't matter what is printed anywhere. You can hear what he sang.
In 1968, with no earphones, and the lyrics that were printed on the back of the poster that came with the White Album that said "mountain" can you understand how people (especially a young teenager) could think differently?

Sure but even as a teenager I would have questioned it. And now...we're far from being teenagers!

Hi,
Well, I see that you are not very inspired. So I'll put the two questions asked by toris.
Then it's up to you.1. Does Mr McCartney know Maccaboard?
2. Could Mr. McCartney sing Rocky Racoon again?
I hope I'm not wrong about the questions.
Have a nice day. -

You missed the point. From the age of 13 until 60 or whatever, I never heard anything different from ANYONE (about it being mining not mountain) Then on here, it came up and I was totally taken by surprise. It took a few years and a listen with earbuds to catch it! Now you see?

This was toris's question:
Paul, you have your official MaccaBoard. We all love you, even if we have varied opinions that create much debate. Do you ever read it? Have you ever anonymously posted on it?
This was love2travel's question:
Ocean's Kingdom was such a beautiful and touching story/ballet. Stella’s ballet costumes were so well done. Is there a possibility that a DVD will come out about the ballet, so that the people who were not able to get to Lincoln Center, could get the pleasure of enjoying it?

Thank you, Nancy.
I will add them. But I'll have to shorten them a bit. I'm afraid it's too long. -

I didn't miss any point and let's not start this whole thing up again. And this is exactly why I said to Toris that it didn't matter what or where it was printed.

Which question would you choose?
1. Paul, you have your official MaccaBoard. We all love you, even if we have varied opinions that create much debate. Do you ever read it? Have you ever anonymously posted on it?
2. Ocean's Kingdom was such a beautiful and touching story/ballet. Stella’s ballet costumes were so well done. Is there a possibility that a DVD will come out about the ballet, so that the people who were not able to get to Lincoln Center, could get the pleasure of enjoying it?

You were right that the questions are too long to fit in a poll. But I don't think they are too long to actually submit to Paul through "You Gave Me The Answer."
I like both questions!

I voted for question 1.

Thank you McCall

Hello to all,
An idea is coming through my little head. Would you all like to ask the same question on "Submit Your Question" for the next "You Gave Me Answer"?
Would you like to do that? Well, I'm in.
That's why I'm proposing that we all agree on a question, which we'll ask together.
I think that if there are several of us, the question will eventually be passed. That way if one of us is chosen for the next "You Gave Me Answer". He will represent all of us.
So, do you feel like it?
Let me know
Have a nice eveningMy question would be twofold. When will "It's A Wonderful Life" hit the stage in the West End or Broadway and was it more difficult to write lyrics to songs to advance a story line than lyrics to a song on one of your albums?

Good questions! You should submit them!

Thanks friends for restarting the thread. I was beginning to lose hope. Maybe all is not lost yet.
