Another thing that would be perfect for your compilation would be songs Paul gave to other artists over the years. You included his demo of "On The Wings Of A Nightengale" but I have listed a couple of others that would be nice additions. The songs I listed below I think Paul could sing them even with his voice today and do his own version. If not, have the version of these songs done by the artist they were written for with notation they were written by Paul.
Come and Get It - Badfinger
Goodbye - Mary Hopkins
If I Take You Home Tonight - Diana Krall
World Without Love - Peter & Gordon
Woman - Peter & Gordon
Mine For Me - Rod Stewart
Great choices and ideas Yankeefan. I have heard Paul's own version of Come and Get It and Goodbye (the demo) but I've never heard his version or demo's of World Without Love, Woman, If I Take You Home Tonight and Mine for Me.
Paul really needs the kind of album we're talking about. Good to great songs he wrote that most people (even Beatle fans) don't really know. The more I think about it, Spring of 2023 would be a good time. Right now he's pushing his McCartney Albums (the trilogy), his new Children's Book, new Beatle releases etc. By the Winter and/or Spring of 2023, a "Leftovers and Rarities type of release might be a good time.

Yes, all great songs and would love to hear all of the rarities and other songs that didn't make it to an album or single or otherwise unknown by many. They need to come together in one place, so the world can find them and enjoy them as much as we do. I've met too many people who I've introduced to previously unknown Paul songs. Some who have quite a wide range of musical songs and books yet they are shocked to learn about the Fireman or the Classical albums or the Oceans Kingdom ballet. How I would love to show them a video of that too. It was so beautiful with Stella's diaphanous, colorful costumes swirling across the stage.
