What was the first song you heard from Paul McCartney that made you a fan?
-
Guessing it wasn't McCartney III. Curious to know!
-
Dec. 1963 - I Want To Hold Your Hand. I was 8 and became an instant fan!
-
Februrary 1964 "All My Loving" on Ed Sullivan...I became an instant Paul McCartney fan
-
In 2018 with the Egypt Station album. But I heard the first song 4 years before on a radio. It was Wings with "Goodnight tonight".

Oh, yeah, Paul was the one the second I saw him, especially live and in living black & white on The Ed Sullivan Show!

I was 12 and watched the film "The parents trap", where "Here comes the sun" played, loved this song and became interested in the Beatles. Then watched "Yesterday" and became an absolute fan of the whole group, especially Paul for his talant, beauty, voice and charming behavior! First Paul's Beatles' song that I heard was "All my loving"

All My Loving was the first song the Beatles played the first time they were on The Ed Sullivan Show Feb. 9, 1964! I was 8 years old and "glued" to the TV set!

You were born the year I graduated high school! 🤯

Live and Let Die (summer 73)
-
I probably already answered this, but it was I Want To Hold Your Hand in late Dec. 1963 when I was 8!

Ack! I had just graduated high school and went to visit a friend in CA for 3 weeks. We went to the drive-in and saw Live and Let Die!

I heard "blackbird" on the night of his 80th birthday and "yesterday" before that. And I became fan instantly. but first Beatles song was(of course)"Hey Jude".
-
@s-blackbird
Blackbird is an awesome song . I first fell in love with Paul's solo career with the song "Maybe I'm Amazed" I loved the beatles too but I really do love Paul's music more. -
Huuum! I am from Brazil and my mother likes Wings a lot... So the first music I recognized is Silly Love Songs and RAM album! Yes! Absolutely. It made me Pa ul Fan, more than Beatles.
