Let Me Roll It *****Literally anything else My Valentine *****No More Lonely Nights or Beautiful Night 1985 ***** C'moon, Let Em In, or The Back Seat of My Car Long and Winding Road? Here Today ******Early Days Something ******Any other George song Obladi Oblada ******Penny Lane or Coming Up Back in the USSR ******Anything I think these should be gone and replaced with something NEW, and/or recycled with something that's been off the setlist for many years
I agree with every choice except Something. I just love the way he segues from the ukulele into the rest of the band. It always makes me tear up. If I could hear Penny Lane live, I would be so happy.
He did Penny Lane at soundcheck in DC last summer, I was almost jumping up and down I was so excited! I wasn't at soundcheck but was listening outside.
I was listening to soundcheck outside in Boston last year, and it was magical. I went to the DC concert, but traffic was so bad we got there just in time to get our t-shirts and get to our seats.

I guess I'm a Debbie-Downer, but I just don't give a damn when people get engaged. Who cares?
-
How does someone get lucky enough to get onstage like that?

How sweet...Congratulations!!

#Rochester couple just got engaged onstage at the @PaulMcCartney show. He sang "When I'm 64" to her, with Paul playing backup. He's 64.
I guess that's the only way to get Paul to play a Beatles song for the first time. Nice choice!

Probably the most important thing about tonight was that he made it through his first return concert unscathed. Full length concert too. Great news. Anybody have any idea how his voice was?

He sounded the same as always in any of the short clips I heard. Summary: Everybody Out There --> OUT On My Way to Work --> IN

So that's the show, then. Hi, Hi, Hi and Everybody Out There seem to be gone. And the Fans on the Run post about "Appreciate" being played was wrong as well.
-
well unless he did swap Appreciate for Hi Hi Hi and nobody noticed, doesnt look like that song is gonna happen tonight.
-
It's over!

Paul looks very handsome in his blue suit. Congratulations John and Claudia! Paul is so sweet to let them onstage for a LOVE union!

Fans on the Run also say Everybody Out There WAS actually played? I guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out. I suspect there was a third song in the first encore and we don't know what it was just yet.

They did say that Everybody Out There was played, but I'm taking that report with a grain of salt considering that their post about Appreciate seems to be incorrect.
