Erik in NJ:
I got 2Hot VIP tickets (Floor 2, Row D) and 4 Silver VIP tickets (Sec 101, Row J). I may be putting the 4 Silver tickets up for sale. What is the best place to do this? Thanks.
You're gonna love it! You've never been before right? There is a thread here...somewhere for resale of tickets for original purchase price.
-
happy for you guys who got tix!
-
The Crowdsurge site is basically useless, isn't it? Not once has it indicated that even one ticket, at any price, in any section is available. I ended up biting the bullet and went with the Gold Hot Sound, row K, section 3, near the middle aisle. I was hoping to do "normal" $253s this time, but got tired of trying. In the end, 11th row is not bad, as long as I don't think of the cost!
-
I just dumped the Silver VIP tickets as it seems they are hard to sell due to the fact they require a Credit Card to check in Looks like there are still some good floor seats available and even the HOT VIP package!
-
Didn't get tickets. The venue is expecting a sell out in 15-30 minutes on Monday. I will try!!
-
TicketMaster still has very good floor seats still available, so I don't get those that say they didn't get tickets. I thought it was only VIP tickets on sale today, so how are people getting regular seats under $250???
-
Does anyone out there know how the seat numbers run? 1 & 2 to the right or starting on the left? Floor section. THANKS!
-
Probably in the same order as the section numbers--left to right is my guess. Not sure how many seats in a floor section.

There was a presale through this website for regular tickets. But, the links were screwed up originally and many of us lost out.

I was on right at 10am and when I clicked on the link for Albany it wasn't even in English and the NOLA show was listed. By the time I refreshed and got back in, tickets were sold out Guess I'll try my luck on Monday.

I myself ended up picking up a couple of HOT VIP tickets for me and a buddy of mine for the Albany show (@ $1500 each ...crazy!). I had originally purchased 4 Silver VIP tickets, but was able to get a one time refund as I called right away and did buy the more expensive tickets. The seats are floor seats section 2 right in the middle front of the stage row 4--so overall they are GREAT seats. Let me know who else is planning on attending Albany and what to expect from the soundcheck and hospitality part of the package. I heard about the stupid glitches for regular seats , but I went to TicketMaster and they only had VIP packages available there--it was pretty smooth there although I'd never purchased tickets on-line before. I hope others here were successful in getting tickets and will be attending the show!
-
No luck for me...I kept getting the New Orleans page although I was clicking on the Albany link...went to All Shows, but was too late. Will try again tomorrow for Amex presale.

Only 12,600 seats for this gig. The only thing holding my dad back is the 2 hour ride home. I have an ok feeling about this show. Here's hoping!
I thought this arena seats 18,000. Where did the other 5,400 seats go?

Does anyone out there know how the seat numbers run? 1 & 2 to the right or stain all the floor ting on the left? Floor section. THANKS!
I looked it up and found the numbers listed on the Rod Stewart seating chart! The numbers on the floor sections run from right to left! Seat 1 on the right in each floor section. Hope this helps!

I just googled capacity and it's 17,500. Anyone have any idea how to get the password for the presale for Friday?

I ended up with Albany tix, when I was trying to get Pittsburgh. Clicked the Pittsburgh link, but it took me to Albany. Didn't even notice until tonight. It's a couple hours further away, but Saturday makes it doable. Weird.

Congrats! Will you still try for Pittsburgh tix and try to sell your Albany tix?

Sounds like a presale for radio stations to give tickets away
