Strange if EOT was dropped. It's an audience singalong piece and goes over very well live.

Smart man!
Good for them. Yet, I have to agree with Audi, how does this enhance a McCartney concert? And what does it have to do with it? I suspect a lot of people in Albany had special events in their lives this evening or this week, can they get on stage in front of 15,000 people to act it out? I GET having regular people get on stage to show he is a man of the people. But I also believe the concert stage is a magical place where people pay to watch an artist work their magic. Having people come up on stage to propose, or dance, or sing, or get a body part autographed, kind of diminishes that for me. Just my opinion. I wish the engaged couple many blessings!

And likewise the tatoos... I suppose it gives Paul a chance for a breather...

I guess I'm a Debbie-Downer, but I just don't give a damn when people get engaged. Who cares?

don't be jealous
It is not jealousy on my part. I don't think these hi jinks have a place in a big show in an arena or a stadium. Maybe a bar gig. I understand most people disagree with me and will say "That was so cool!" But to me, it just does not have a place at a big rock show. How about doing it backstage ten minutes before the show or after? That's cool. I'm not jealous of that. I may be wrong, but I don't think Mick and Keith do these things, nor Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend. Even McCartney didn't do these things 1993 and back.

Ok, in the parking garage right now. What a show. I was 2 feet away from him!! The reception he got onstage was AMAZING when he walked out. It wasn't a loud show. Best gig yet. MSG next year?

My take on it is if Paul wants to make somebody's day, month, year then let him!
It's his concert he can do whatever he wants.
