Last night on Bill Maher's show: "You Trump voters are stoned? Please! We liberals invented stoned! This is common ground. We get high and bid 1000 bucks for a Beatles lunch box on eBay. You got high and ordered a President from Moscow!"
-
It has now become a worldwide necessity to mention The Beatles' name in almost every conversation!

It seems to me that The Beatles have become a very big part of everyday life to this very day!

And I'd be willing to bet that they will still be well-known in hundreds of years (like Beethoven, Mozart, etc. are today)

Indeed! Heard on a radio talk show the other night a portion of I Am The Walrus. The announcer went on to talk about the many theories on who the "Walrus" is? He went on to say that The Eggman was a reference to Eric Burdon?

Thanks to the internet, Gangnam Style might be remembered in 100 years.

Hi HaileyMcComet! How are you? Since you reside in Hong Kong, the late great Bruce Lee will never be forgotten either!

Tuesday night on This Is Us: The song Photograph is playing at Jack & Rebecca's wedding reception (parts of the show take place over 35 years ago) Jack's work partner, Miguel, is giving a toast: "For the first two months of your relationship, Jack bailed on me so much to go out with you that I started referring to you as Yoko Ono."

There should be a Beatles TV series! The question is: who will portray John, Paul, George & Ringo?
-
The Goldbergs Wednesday night: Main character Adam Goldberg and his best friend Chad make videos together in the 1980's. Long story short, they get into a fight because Chad wants to play tennis instead of make videos. Adam to Chad: "Chadam Productions is hereby dissolved! We are no longer the Lennon and McCartney of home movies!" Side note: Adam Goldberg based the show on his real life growing up and he always shows old videos of the real people at the end of the show. The real Chad had a small role playing the father of his younger self too!

Watched Lake Street Dive on Charlie Rose today. They said on more than one occasion that they have modeled their creative journey after...The Beatles! http://www.lakestreetdive.com/

Pat Sajak asked Vanna White Wednesday on Wheel Of Fortune what her favorite Beatle song was. "Eleanor Rigby" was her reply.
-
Sleepy Hollow 3/31/17 "It says here that the 4 Horsemen may be more powerful together than separately." "Like the Beatles. Their solo work never had that same magic."
-
You would have to watch the segment "New Rules" on Real Time With Bill Mather 3/31/17 to get the full gist of this, but each photo he showed and talked about had a title based on a Beatles song: Eight Days A Tweak While My OnStar Gently Weeps All You Need Is Glove I Wanna Be Your Klan Magical Mystery Detour Fixing A-Hole It was so funny! It's not up on YouTube yet, but check it out if you can.
-
The Kennedys: After Camelot 4/2/17 "Is this the front desk? This is Senator Ted Kennedy from room 5. Some idiot's been blasting their radio down the hall for the last three hours! (Pause) The Beatles, I don't know!" The Last Man On Earth 4/2/17 (only a handful of people are left on Earth after a virus wipes everybody else out) They find a child dressed as Yoda and the main character, Tandy, declares that he will be his father. "So, to quote the late Sir Paul McCartney and the even later Michael Jackson, 'That boy is mine. That doggone boy is mine.'"
-
On repeat of Hawaii Five-O originally shown 11/18/16: Jerry (Jorge Garcia who played Hurley on Lost) had a friend of his killed who was a fellow "conspiracy theorist." He says "She was the only person I could talk to about things that the rest of the world would think are crazy: The Bilderberg Group, Paul McCartney's decoy, Apollo 11." (I had to Google that 1st one - it really exists!) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilderberg_Group The Apollo 11 reference is referring to whether we really went to the moon or not.
