More Auction Info: Las Vegas, NV, June 25, 2007 --(PR.com)-- ItsOnlyRocknRoll.com Auctions will present a Live Auction of Beatles memorabilia at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas on July 3, with The Fest for Beatles Fans including Denny Laine's Wings Grammy Award. Paul McCartney, along with Ringo Star, Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison will be appearing on the Larry King TV show live from Las Vegas on June 26 at The Mirage, and one week later this Grammy Award presented to Denny Laine of Wings will be auctioned off in the same location. A rare opportunity to acquire a real Grammy award from one of the members of Paul McCartney?s band Wings. The engraved plaque reads: ?National Academy Of Recording Arts & Sciences?Paul McCartney & Wings...Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal...Band On The Run? Considered by critics and fans as, perhaps, McCartney?s finest post-Beatles album, ?Band On The Run? remains his best selling album since the breakup of The Beatle; the #1 album selling more than three million copies in the U.S. alone. ?Jet,? ?Helen Wheels,? were both top ten hits, while ?Band On The Run? hit the #1 position on the Billboard singles chart. The trio that comprised Wings at the time; Paul, wife Linda and guitarist/vocalist Denny Laine, each received Grammy trophies in 1974. This particular Grammy, originally the property of Denny Laine, comes with Laine?s letter of authenticity. The auction will focus on Original Memorabilia and Collectibles from the 1964-1969 era, authenticated Beatles group and individual?s Autographs and Handwritten Material, Original Artwork, Concert Posters, Photographs, Lithographs, Awards, Clothing, Personal Effects and Toys. ?One highlight is a previously unknown concert poster advertising The Beatles appearing at Busch Stadium in St. Louis in 1966 that is expected to bring over $50,000,? says ItsOnlyRocknRoll.com president Marc Zakarin. ?The woman that consigned it obtained it from the ticket agency that sold tickets at the time and kept it in her drawer for 41 years.? ItsOnlyRocknRoll.com Auctions set the world record for the sale of a concert poster recently when a 1966 Beatles Shea Stadium poster sold at auction for $132,000. A highlight of the Mirage auction will be items from original Beatles Bass Player Stuart Sutcliffe?s collection including original artwork, paintings, writings and drawings from his days as an original Beatles. Stuart was killed early in the Beatles history and his sister, Pauline Sutcliffe, will be ItsOnlyRockNRoll.com?s special guest appearing at the auction. The auction will feature fantastic authentic autographs and writings, including Paul McCartney handwritten lyrics to a Gene Vincent song, a Stuart Sutcliffe song list, Hotel registration cards signed by each Beatle, John Lennon's Signed registration for his Rolls Royce, The Animal?s guitarist Hilton Valentine?s Beatles and Animals signed ?Thank Your Lucky Stars" television cue sheet, flight attendant Eva Van Enk?s "In His Own Write? book signed by all four Beatles along with her candid photographs from the trip. And a guitar signed by Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band from his 1992 tour. The Photography section includes hundreds of vintage photos from photographer Sam Leach's archive, along with previously unseen and unpublished photos from Ian Wright and others. Rare toys and merchandise items include a Beatles Phonograph in the original box, a John Lennon Halloween costume in the box and a set of prototype Beatles Bobble Head Car Mascot Nodders in the sale of 300 lots of memorabilia. Full color catalogs will be available prior to the auction by mail and at the event. The auction will also be live online for bidding at www.ItsOnlyRocknRoll.com and eBay Live. Oh Oh ! ((Jo)) is going to buy more autographs. Yes the Traveling Wilburys are great, I really like the DVD, especially showing all the videos. Thats terrible that you have heard back from the person about your autograph and have already sent the money. That is really unfair. I hope it comes through for you.
yeah thomas but i shouldn't have a problem considering the fact i know this person (not on a personal basis tho)...and it appears this person is a hard-working honest individual. (...whose name i wish to keep anonymous.)

Just looked at that auction before, I can not seem to fine the lots, are they on there site?
i just got the auction catalog in the mail today!!! ALL BEATLES!!!! ...wow the amounts of money they expect to get from each lot is really high!!. ..there are 403 lots....i have my eye on a few things. i believe you have to pre-register at ebay live... ....but remember there is an additional 22-1/2% fee added on to your winning bid.. .....since i already have the book, i can either call in, fax or go the ebay-way for my bids. ...either that..or hop on a plane to the mirage for the auction. THANKS FOR THE ADDITONAL INFO ON THE AUCTION THOMAS.

yeah thomas i know it should work out but i can't understand after a total of 5 emails since i won the auction i haven't heard from the seller other than the seller is away until the 2nd of july and that her friend will be sending it out!!!...i mean i paid a total of $20 overseas shipping & and additional $10 for signed delivery!!!...and nothing yet!!!! ...sorry i'm just venting! yeah the opening bid for the grammy is $25,000 and they expect to get between $50-100,000 for it!!...it's denny's personal gammy! here it is! and i completely understand about money for the auction!!!...the starting prices are somewhat ridiculous for a decent item!!!

Jo, do you have a link to the ebay live site, as I would like to view the lot's Cheers Steve
-
I was just checking the site on Ebay and I ran in to this: Link removed by a moderator It a little weird. Steve, I just went to Ebay, and then click live auctions, and Scrolled down till I found where it said Las Vegas Mermorabilia Auction. ((Jo)) I saw all the gold record. it's quite a lot.
-
sorry steve, i wasn't around...however, it you go to the link that thomas posted...and click on SIGN UP ...it will ask you for your user name and password...and then you can register for that auction...GOOD LUCK!!! . ..hmmm i wonder what steve is going for???? ...i hope we don't bid on the same items! ...i don't have much money to bid on cuz tommy only gave me $800 to spend... ...cuz he kinda feels bad that he made me miss Paul's gig in nyc.....but that's OK...cuz i did meet Paul twice...so i got over it!!! yeah thomas there are a total of 9 gold records!!! ...GOOD LUCK if you decide to go for one of them. ...but i have a feeling that this auction will rack in a lot of money considering the fact that its "live" at the mirage and they have it listed on "ebay live"....so maybe it's not a good time for try for them now. ...cuz you'll prbably have to pay "big bucks" ...not only that...there's a 22-1/2% fee if you win! as for me...i'm still searching. ...now what shall i bid on!!!
-
ok..i placed by bids ...i only bid of 3 items so far! ...i don't think i'll be up against steve for the items i bid on! ...now if i win all 3 items (which i doubt).. ...i guess i'm gonna have to use that pastic!
-
((Jo) good luck on all that you have bid on. Im not going to bid on anything, becuase you are right, it will be very pricey and with that fee it would be more expensive, and after the Florida trip, funds are a little low. Im still going to keep an eye on it though. Hope you get what you want.
-
(((thomas)))..thank you sweetie.... yeah i hear about vacations...they can be really costly ....but i'm sure you and your family really enjoyed getting away to florida...i hope you had great weather! ...and i'm certain going to disneyworld was a dream come true for your son!!!.... ...memories which will last a long time!!!... ...i'm going away for a few days so i'll check back on monday. ..HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! Love, Jo
