Steve, all I can say is that I think it's wonderful that you are able to afford such a set of autographs...ONE ONE PAGE!!!!!!.. .everytime I come across a set, it gets to be too rich for my blood...so to speak!! ....and you're right, they didn't critque their autographs til later!!!....as a matter of fact my John autographs are all different...but genuine...such as yours!! ...the last one of John is pretty much around the era as your john.. ...and steve with Tracks ...you could never go wrong!!!....great find!!!...good for you! ...WOW another set on one page!!!

that's wonderful euan! ...i remember you saying you had a tribute site for john...i must visit it again. ...cuz i'm certain you have alot more stuff than when i visited it ages ago.

(((Joanne))) I remember when you bought that postcard. The guy that had it signed said that it was signed like in '73 or '74 on a plane coming or going to London(I forgot). Then someone pointed out the obvious point that John and Yoko would have never left the US at this time with all of the crap John went through trying to get citizenship because they wouldn't be let back into the country. Your reaction was !! Then you frantically waited to hear from Frank C. about the fate of your postcard. Finally after much agonizing and what seemed like forever, not only was it the real deal, it was during this time period: ///-o-o-\\\ ///- -\\\
You would think that we could have all figured that out since Yoko signed her name Ono Lennon and I think she only did that for a short time right after they were married. -
OMG (((christine))) you are so right! ....i'd forgotten about that! ...as a matter of fact i searched this thread and found our "question" about the authenticity of this autograph along with my emails.. ...and if you go to this link...it explains it all. http://macca.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1860320&highlight=still#1860320 again i want to thank ((((you, steve & liz)))).... concerning your doubts...and enlightening me. (((christine))) THANK YOU FOR THAT VIDEO!!. ..and thank you for posting john & yoko ...i think it's so adorable and amazing how a few typewritten characters actually look like them both!

Hello ((Jo)) I think that is great, that you bought the Shea Staduim seats. Enjoy them. Yes we are crazy , I just saw the Beatles Monopoly game at our local Borders Book, about the day after I received my game from Amazon. I think I will have to go there and buy another copy of the game, because my son want to play it. Have a great fab day, and hope all is well with your family.

hi (((thomas)))). ..yeah i couldn't resit...considering i am a mets fan and the Beatles did play at shea.. ..so you know i had to get them....it was either that or another autograph ...like i really need another one ...so i went for the memorabilia this time!! so are you gonna get another one to play with??? ..it's sooooooo much fun!!!...i mean i like playing monopolgy in general....but playing monopoly with Beatles-related property is way to cool. ....hope you and everyone else has a superFAB day.
-
Yeah Joanne, I think it's kind of cool that I've managed to hang onto it all these 42 plus years. Considering my Mom threw out most of my Beatles cards, etc... Still have a few of those but not as many as I did have at one time!
Beatlemaniac:
wow a tour guide from 1966... that's pretty awesome fletch.
-
fletch that is just so wonderful... ...about the program that is ...sorry about the cards tho????...but who'd of known after all these years Beatles memorabilia would be such collectibles. ...a few of my friends have Beatles stuff....as a matter of fact one of my friends gave me one of the Life magazines with the Beatles on the front cuz they knew i would keep good care of it.. ...but know what's so sad...a few year's after he gave it to me...he passed away ....so now it's just so very special to me. i hope everyone had a superFAB weekend and a BEATLEful day.
-
Hi ((Jo)) Yes we did buy a Beatles Monopoly game to play . We played the game on Saturday (My wife won that one) and yesterday, which we knowbody has one yet. We will have to finish that game later. Also bought the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, called John Lennon: Imagine Whirrled Peace... The Ice Cream is good. Can a Ice Cream become a collectable? Wasn't there a Beatles Ice Cream bar in the 60's? I think I have seen the wrappers for it. Hope you and your family are done well. Everybody have a fab day.

So there was a Beatles Ice Cream bar, thank you Silly Love Songs. I wonder how much the box would be worth today?
