What is going on with the triplets Anita???? What's new??? Are they still in the jazz band and taking music lessons? Are we going to see Joseph play Blackbird?
-
Anny Rock:
How very sweet and innocent the children look. Did they actually realise what was happening in the first place? They were so young at the time. Lovely act of Paul. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for your kind words. The triplets were stunned beyond comprehension, but they did indeed know what was happening at that time.

Hi (((((Mary)))))! The triplets are indeed still participating in a jazz band and LOVING every minute of it!!! Just yesterday they enjoyed their last jazz festival competition of the year and end of jazz season trip to Dorney - we had a blast!!! They also continue to participate in a concert band and an orchestra. I sincerely doubt their LOVE of music will ever fade, it is in their souls! The triplets are still taking all previously noted private music lessons with Jennifer adding violin lessons to the ever-growing list - she begins two weeks from now and cannot wait! I believe we have Joe performing Blackbird filmed twice, once by each of the girls last year at a recital on William and Kate's wedding day. I doubt that I will get to that until after the children begin their summer break, but I promise you that I will indeed get to it! Joe's instructor has shared five or six mp3s of Joe playing guitar whilst she is singing, I'll do my best to round up a few of those as well. I left a reply on your page to the message you left on my page at the main site, but you probably have not been back since to read it. You will be happy to learn that I have finally uploaded the pictures that have been stored on my camera since 2010. ops: I was pleasantly surprised to find a picture of you with the children taken at Paul's 2010 Philly concert. I promise you that I will post updated pictures here as soon as I have a bit of free time. The children are out of school on the 14th, so if not before, definitely after that date. So sorry that I have not replied to you sooner. I chaperoned back-to-back trips - a class trip on Thursday and the jazz festival competition/Dorney trip yesterday. 5 AM start time - I am still trying to recover!!! ops: We miss you and we cannot wait to see you!!!

((((((((((Mary)))))))))) My dear friend, how lovely to see your presence here! For a moment, I did not recognize you in that suit of armor. Needless to write, I am ashamed that I have not yet updated with some pictures - so very sorry! ops: I had not expected to be sooooo busy during the summer! The children do not return to school until next Thursday, thus bringing forth the return of the dreaded full-time schedule. Let's see if I can manage to post a few pictures before then... Again, great to see you here, ((((((((((Mary))))))))))! You made me remember what it is all about at just the right moment! Funny how a true friend can sense that you need them to appear without asking - thanks for this!

The magical story of the triplets re-posted from Christmas Eve 2007. This makes me cry every time.
Triplets Love Paul:
I've just read over the posts in this thread, lindafan's thoughts on Karma, wunjo's thoughts on heroes and a miracle, tears of joy, Podgie's thoughtfulness, just the loving feelings expressed here in general. Given the openness of feelings, and the season, I think it may be the right time to share something personal with all of you that have visited this thread. I hope that all of you make it back here to read this. I believe it will really alter the way that you think. The triplets discovered Paul McCartney at two and one half years old. They were head-over-heels in love with him by the age of three. To this day, he is without question their favorite person on the face of the earth. Simply put, for the triplets, the sun rises and sets through Paul McCartney. The only wish they ever expressed, the only dream they've ever had, was to meet Paul McCartney. I explained that would never, ever be possible, and the reasons why. During our children's fourth year well-check, their pediatrician discovered that Joseph had what he believed to be a very rare type of tumor. He sent us to Children's Hospital. He was correct in his findings. Although the tumor is not malignant, it is one that very often kills children, as it is generally discovered later in age. It attacks the facial area, the ear, the neck, the brain and scull. My son has undergone numerous surgeries over the years, which included the removal and reattachment of this ear, and the opening of his scull. He has permanent hearing loss in his right ear due to it. It has been horrific! The hospital offered to put us in touch with Make A Wish. I declined the offer. Night after night, after everyone went to sleep, I would tip-toe downstairs. Alone, in the quiet, I would pray that Paul McCartney would tour, so that my son would get to see him before be died. I never imagined my children meeting him. When that night in Philly came, and Paul brought my children on that stage, I knew then and there that I'd never be the same. I knew there was divine intervention. I knew that miracles do happen, Karma does exist. To this day, we've never told Paul McCartney about Joseph, and what he has done for him, not even in our thank you letter to him. Sir Paul gave the triplets a picture of them with him on stage. He addressed it to them, wrote a message, and signed it. Every night my son stops to stare at that picture. I once asked him what he was thinking about while looking at the picture. He said "do you think if Paul dies before I do he'll take care of me until you get to heaven?" On another ocassion, I asked him what he was thinking while looking at the picture, he said "you know, if I do die, the only dream I ever had came true." I have never again asked him what he's thinking while looking at the picture. Paul McCartney personally taught my children that anything is possible. He taught them that any dream you can imagine can come true. He personally showed them that when you openly give love, you receive love. Paul McCartney is the hero here. He is my children's hero. He is my hero. There is a special place in heaven for Paul McCartney. For those that may be interested, Joseph is checked every four months for tumor regrowth. As of October, he has been tumor free for one year. It is a very good sign. We hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful holiday season. We think it is very special that so many of you have openly expressed your feelings. That doesn't happen very often. It's difficult to take that chance, but when you do, it really feels good!

That is such a beautiful story! I have tears in my eyes!

Hi Anita and Triplets...10 years ago tomorrow (September 22), I had the privilege of attending one of the greatest Paul McCartney shows. In addition to the awesome setlist performed during the '05 US Tour, Paul turned a fantastic concert that evening in Philadelphia into something very special. He invited three adorable children dressed in Sgt. Pepper outfits on stage with him. The audience loved it! It's these random acts of kindness, from Paul, that creates lifelong friendships among his fans!!!

Hi Tom, Thank you for your message and for bumping this thread! That concert back on the 22nd of September 2005 was the first Paul concert my triplets attended and needless to write, remains their all-time favorite! Paul's generosity was and will always be the gift of a lifetime for my children which resulted in a lifetime of inspiration. We will never forget that moment in time and are delighted that you share and recall this memory with us. As you know firsthand, Paul is extremely generous to his fans and has indeed brought so many of us together in what has evolved into lifelong friendships. If Paul could know the depth in which he has touched so many of our lives he would be overwhelmed with emotion - so much LOVE! Thanks again, Tom! Sending lots of LOVE to you and your family! Anita and Triplets
