Just got back to my hotel room and what can I say? Just a unbelievable gig. So happy he put I Saw Her Standing There into the set list. One of my favourite Beatles songs! Now time forged before more theme parks tomorrow.

friend just called while driving.. said Paul was much better tonight than last.. animated -happy- interacting with the crowd~ she said last night more reserved~

NO HOPE OF DELIVERANCE!! REPLACED WITH "JUST SEEN A FACE" NOOOOOOOOOO
I love both songs, but since I've heard I've Just Seen A Face live a couple of times, I'd prefer Hope of Deliverance. The best would be to hear both in the same setlist.

I think McCartney is reaching critical mass with the songs he can or is willing to change out or learn. I mean, when he starts doing more obscure things like ALL TOGETHER NOW, MR. KITE, or YOUR MOTHER SHOULD KNOW, what else is there?? I would LOVE it if he did OH DARLING! or even MAXWELL'S SILVER HAMMER, but it looks like those ones may never get the live treatment. For the life of me, WHY won't McCartney rotate some of the sound check songs into the set list?? It's not like the band doesn't know the songs. Each night should be slightly different, just by putting some of those in, three a night rotated until he does them all, then start over again. I think songs like HONEY DON'T, TWENTY FLIGHT ROCK, and RAM ON would be a welcome break from what people are reading every night here.
I'd take Bluebird or Coming Up over throwaway crap like All Together Now...

Get Back / I Saw Her Standing There switch is ok, they've both been done to death and are about equivalent for me (prefer ISHST a little) but why why why return to the I've Just Seen a Face/And I Love Her combination? That's been milked for all it's worth by now! Keep the 2 new songs and rotate And I Love Her!!

I don't agree! I've just seen a face is the best song he's written imo. I really hope he keeps it in the setlist until I see him in Vienna next month

Don't get me wrong, I love I've Just Seen a Face but I want to hear Hope of Deliverance...let's give the And I Love Her slot to I've Just Seen a Face, the we're all happy lol? How was last nights show?
-
I went to the show on the 18th, and thought it was great, but I'm glad to hear that people who went to both thought he was even better last night! I did want to comment on "Hope Of Deliverance"; it's not a song with which I was familiar, but I listened several times before the show, knowing there was a good chance it would be played. With Abe coming out and playing bass, and Wix on the main part of the stage instead of behind all his equipment/instruments, the whole band was dancing and having a good time. I think the crowd picked up on that, and while many weren't familiar with the tune, they danced along as well. It was one of the songs my son was singing after the show, even though it was the first time he had heard it! Glad everyone enjoyed both of the Orlando shows!

Both nights I noticed a few people with the premium black membership shirts, who wore them? I noticed them when I got to my seat and when it ended I couldn't get to them to say hello.
-
So, how were the concerts for the OUT THERE tour opening? Is the show visually much different from the 2010 or 2012 shows? Is this really a "new" tour or merely an extension of the two previous tours, which I suspect it is? Part of me is happy Paul is changing up the set list, but I am not sure songs like ALL TOGETHER NOW or MR. KITE or even YOUR MOTHER SHOULD KNOW are songs I would rather hear than, say, HELLO GOODBYE, GETTING BETTER, FIXING A HOLE or other songs he has done in the past.
-
Just as an observation - the songs that seemed to go down the best on Saturday were: Something Blackbird Here Today Ob La Di Hey Jude Let It Be Get Back Hi Hi Hi Band On The Run This has nothing to do with my own personal faves, just an observation of the crowds reaction.
-
There is no setlist in the world that would make everyone happy. But I'm sure most of us agree that it's a good thing when new songs are added to the show.

I was wearing mine! I missed the 5 p.m. meetup too! I got stuck in traffic and didn't get to the arena until 6 and the line started forming by then. Show was awesome though!

Now that I have had some time to "take in" the new set list, it is consistent and as good as past lists. I mean, McCartney has so many songs, they are interchangeable. I'VE JUST SEEN A FACE, HOPE OF DELIVERANCE or THINGS WE SAID TODAY. Or GET BACK and I SAW HER STANDING THERE. All are great songs.
-
Even though I like Hope of Deliverance I was glad to hear I've Just Seen A Face last night. One of my favorites. Although hearing Celebration was such a surprise. Definitely caught me off guard during soundcheck, I was thrilled with it as well as Sun Is Shining.
-
I heard Celebration in 2011. I think he always does that one in soundcheck.

Just saw the setlist paper that is given to a fan! Looks like "Get Back" will get replaced with "I Saw Her Standing There"
You must have been sitting right near me if it's the same people. Did you see a guy on the stage side of the floor divider (I think in a white shirt) hand a couple in the second row the set list before the concert started? I thought that was strange, they usually don't want the set list out before the concert.
-
Rumours have been bouncing about that he will come to Tampa in the fall. Actually heard this from several people both last night and Saturday. Anyone think it sounds plausible?

Actually I was just lurking Instagram and someone posted a photo of it.
