AROTR Line Up
-
I did not see the three reasons I would go this year on the schedule: The Beach Boys, John Sebastian, and Good 'Ole Freda http://abbeyroadontheriver2013.sched.org/ Anyone else planning to go? If they don't make it on the schedule, I'm sure I won't go.
-
Were those guests supposed to be there?
-
Yes, definitely advertised that they are going to be there.
-
They are still shown on the AROTR page; maybe since they are "special" guests, they aren't included on that schedule? http://www.arotr.com/site/?page_id=2266
-
Makes no sense not to put them on the schedule. What days/nights would you then go if you could only go one day?
-
Wow...that's a lot of guests. And I agree...why aren't they on the schedule? Maybe youu could email them?
-
On the ticket page it shows the BB & JS on Sunday. Read under the platinum ticket: http://www.eventbrite.com/e/abbey-road-on-the-river-may-2014-tickets-10025561725

Oh, yeah. Thanks! Seems ODD not to put them on the schedule, though.

They must have changed it last night. Great.

The tickets for JS and The Beach Boys might be sold out by now. I got mine 12/6/13! ($61.83) This was for VIP Gold circle, rows A-K. (no meet-and-greet)
-
The all day ticket on Sunday doesn't cut it, huh?

Well, I think you'll be able to stand (or sit if you bring a chair) way back on the lawn, or maybe if you get there early enough you can get one of the white chairs behind the people who pay. Check the website and see or email jake@arotr.com. He can answer anything--he's the guy running the whole shebang. I emailed you a copy of the original notice I got last Dec. about the concert. Oh, here, look at this contact info: http://www.arotr.com/site/?page_id=278

Tickets still on sale & lawn seating explained: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-beach-boys-at-abbey-road-on-the-river-with-john-sebastian-tickets-10025497533 WOW! There is no free admission to the concert!!
-
Thanks, Nancy. I'll have to ask him if the $15 add on to the lawn chair seats includes the BB and the Love Show. I really want to go to the Love. It was GREAT last yr.
-
I don't know that they are doing the LOVE show again. On Sat. May 24th at 8:30 pm they have listed a "Feature Concert" with Jukebox, The Return (they're great & are from GA) and Brit Beat. They don't say what exactly it is. One year they did the entire Beatles album "1." This show is included with the cost of either a day pass or Ultimate Ticket To Ride like I have (all 5 days)
-
I sent a question about it to AROTR.
-
I really want to see Sebastian.
-
So, there's 1 founding member of The Beach Boys touring & Mike Love gets to call it The Beach Boys. Huh?? Paul should brand his next tour as The Beatles
