I disagree with Keith Richards. I enjoy listening to Sgt Pepper's...
I agree with you. I still love the Keith.
I love Keith too, he just over snorted his Dad's ashes when he made that comment!!!
Yeah, he has a wonderful sense of humor. Nothing is too sacred to joke about. One must admire such a personality
I guess now its Paul's turn to say something bad about The Stones which should be easy!!!

I wonder if he is too polite. He don't want to hurt anybodys feelings. I bet that he could (if he would) and that he has opinions.

You do have a point, Paul is very sensitive when it comes to offending people!! That's probably why Keith made the comment about the Sgt. Pepper's album, because he knew that Paul wouldn't say anything!!! Now if John was alive, it would be a different story.

Or is it taken out of context? I have the feeling he just answer honestly to a question and not really meant to offend McCartney. It makes sense to me that he is not a fan of "Sgt. Pepper". He is more like a jazzman, jamming and playing.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was taken out of context!!!

Me neither. Is there something journalists are good at it is to take a phrase and make it worse.

Just like they did with Lennon in 66!!!

They should take a sad song and make it better!

Ah, so you noticed. I took that phrase and made a rearrangement.

How bout "We Can Work It Out?"
-
-
A good interview. He's hardly sober but his thoughts are sober.. enough.
-
Keith doesn't even look sober at all!!! Keith especially looks more like Chrissie Hynde than Chrissie does!!!!
-
Keith Richards and Sgt Pepper are in the news? What year is this?

Keith made the current comment (Sgt. Pepper is Rubbish!) on 5 August 2015!!! The other Interview was from 1973, the one that Keith really looks like Chrissie Hynde!!!
-
Not to underestimate Chrissie Hynde's influence on rock music and rock style but I think Keith Richards must be attributed to some kind pinoneer spirit when it comes to looking ragged and bombed out . :

Lets not forget Bob Dylan, he was no saint either!!!

I wouldn't take this too seriously. The Stones are SUPPOSED to say bad things about the Beatles!
-
Yes, I've thought the same. A kind of friendly chauvinism. Image and attitude... In the autobiography of Keith Richards he makes a big deal of the day in 2005 when Paul McCartney is dropping by. He describes it in a warm way that says it all.

It sounds like jealousy to me!!!
