I was on the phone at the exact time and phone. Phone had a fast busy (usually means off the hook)for 30 minutes nothing there, online said no ticket available from the moment of trying so not even a serch for a second. So I guess just overload. I gave up since there didn't apprear to be even a glimmer of hope. Got through on the phone hour later but they said it was a mad house, and nothing left or would be anything later. Since Ticket Master started having a second site reselling tickets for higher price. I don't see how there any motivation to sell cheap tickets to the public. For all of you who got them have a ball. really!!I so happy for you. Really!!
Dang Appletart~ ops: it's a difficult thing to get tickets thru ticket master- just like Paul at the Hard Rock Cafe...you could barely get thru....
hey I could of paid the 350 yesterday for the one ticket just wasn't in the budget. I think my two kids would hope mom would help them out on their bills instead. Glad you got yours and got to make the neverlands guys year. Nice!

We have 2 extra seats Orchestra 7, row T, seats 707-708 that we will sell for face value to a board member-$495.85 total. Two of us were trying and both managed to get tickets, so we have extras. PM me if you are interested.

Thanks for the info on the hotel specials. Just called and the Marriott still has rooms under the $129/night event rate, in case anyone else is interested.

"... another source told us the show sold out within a minute of going on sale... " Wow!
In another post about the on-line process to the Las Vegas The Joint Show I explained what goes on here. The TicketMaster servers are huge and can handle many thousands of transactions at one time. With the rumoured 1500 seat remaining after the pre-sales yesterday, as the option opened all of those tickets would be reserved into potential sales and the "no tickets available page" will be shown. As those sales progress, many will fail - problems with the verification, problems with the credit card, problems with an anxious buyer simply messing up and "time out"ing, some many esp.in the case of yesterday being turned down as too expensive seats. Those seats are returned into the pool of available tickets. and will be offered to the next suitable applicant. The motto with all on-line sales of this nature is "Keep Trying" Even at this late stage it's worth a speculative punt at trying to buy as tickets will still get returned to the available pool. Remember that TicketMaster intend to verify that buyers are not trying to work round the household ticket limit between now and the 19th March by using multiple credit cards and e-mail accounts. If they do find such those tickets will be returned to the available seats pool even now. Martin

Mod Post Just a technical thing here - worth posting into this hot topic. Some of you have not set your Profile to allow the use of Smiley's and Quotes and your posts do not display correctly. If this is you, and you were puzzled by that, this is what you do: Open your Profile by clicking the link in the menu to the left of every page. Scroll down to the preferences section and click yes on the following options: Always allow BBCode: Yes No Always enable Smilies: Yes No Then scroll down further to the bottom and click the "Submit" button And you'll soon be quoting and Smileying with the best of them I have corrected several posts here already so the thread is easier to follow but if you can do that it'll save us having to do so for you. Maybe if they took their time instead, there wouldn't be so many MISTAKES!

Ticketmaster and Live Nation are just like crooks and they top it off with all of their handling charges.

I got the code too, but it didn't help. I tried again since 11:00 today, but it kept coming up no tickets on sale, not in any price range or number. Ticketbastards. :
Ticketbastards? You're kidding, right? Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.... the last two surviving members of the Beatles... are both appearing at a concert, in a venue that holds about 6,000 people. An event of historic proportions... Demand outstripped supply, probably of a ratio of 100,000 to 1. But you're going to blame Ticketmaster, because you didn't get a ticket? Yeah, that makes total sense! (It's like blaming 7-Eleven, because your lottery ticket didn't win the jackpot.)
I see your point, but I stand by what I said. Ticketmaster has earned universal wrath for many reasons. Perhaps it is not their fault that tickets sold out so fast, but the system is nevertheless flawed. That said, I have no viable solution to offer. The fact that scalpers have such easy access to tickets, and that Ticketmaster now effectively has its own scalping site, likely contributed greatly to the lack of tickets for fans who actually want to see Paul and Ringo at fair prices (and not just resell their tickets : ). No one I know would buy a lottery ticket just to resell it. In that sense, the lottery is a fairer game to play. As I said, I have no good way to weed out the scalpers. But as you might have guessed, they disgust me even more than Ticketmaster. Another reason I dislike Ticketmaster and the like is the not-so-small matter of "convenience charges" from Ticketmaster and Live Nation. How much were they this time? : At least that is one thing I will not have to deal with. And here comes my biggest peeve of all...if Ticketmaster and Live Nation do merge, as has been rumored recently, there will be a monopoly. Yes, there will still be other places (Ebay, scalping sites) where tickets can be purchased, but not for their face value...there would only be one site where that is possible if the merger goes through, which means they could do as they please, and ticket prices (face values) may go up. I will keep checking back as Martin suggested, because I know tickets are often held back for companies who then do not use them, or because people were caught trying to exceed ticket limits or had incorrect billing information, etc. But I do not really expect many to turn up. But the important thing is to have fun, so... To all of you who were successful in getting tickets, congratulations! Go forth and party like you never have before.

I dunno Silly Love Songs... I was on the phone and the net at 8:58am straight up 9am I clicked,... the verfication code thing- is what trips you up lotts times.. they should use strict enforcement on this...also, re-vamp the verification code..thihng...
I agree. The first one I got (at exactly 11:00) I couldn't read, so I used the audio version and it is sooo slow. In fact, that might have been the problem for me. By the time I got different words, all tickets were gone. Getting tickets can be stressful sometimes. But then, I'm pretty sure I'm certifiable. Pay no attention to the crazy person typing this...

OMG!!! BBC MACCA FAN!!!! this exact thing has happened to me on so many occasions! typing the verification "captu code" damn thing!! mistyping.. leads to loss of ticket than attempting to re-enter and find tickets for hours ..NOTHING, Zilch! and even days there is nothing left... I was logged on to Ticketmaster and hit enter at exactally 11:00 and the tickets were sold out immediately taken by other sellers. I ended up paying 700 for Orchestra section 6 Row O. It is a pretty good seat. I highly reccommend looking at the seating chart for Radio City Music Hall before buying any from sellers. However I also reccommend checking EBAY and Ace Tickets for any that may be left. I hear they are going for nearly 1000 each if any are left...but check you might get lucky. See you there whom ever is going. I am thrilled. I tried so hard to get to the Liverpool Concert and found the same dilema trying to get tickets from this side of the pond. I just hope that it goes off without any changes. Ringo was supposed to come to NY and play at Bethel in Sept 08 (where the original Woodstock concert was held...now a Performing Arts Center)...and he cancelled. I was so mad...but now I forgive him....I just hope he doesn't pull the same stunt this time. Good Luck All!!

No tickets for me either -( I didn't get the password till 1130, well after all the tickets were gone. Monday was no better. I need 3 in the $129, $99 or $79 price range if anyone has extras to sell. I so want to go to this show. Did any of you get this e-mail explanation from Chris at the DLF today? David Lynch Foundation benefit concert From Chris Busch (chris@davidlynchfoundation.org) You may not know this sender.Mark as safe|Mark as junk Sent Tue 3/10/09 222 AM To Chris Busch (chris@davidlynchfoundation.org) To those of you who contacted the David Lynch Foundation following the ticket sale We have received quite a few emails from disappointed fans. We wanted to give you the courtesy of a follow-up note about the pre-sale Sunday and public sale Monday, and to apologize for any frustration and disappointment we have caused you. Most of the emails dealt with Flawed pre-sale on Sunday No code for the pre-sale received No tickets available from the start of the public sale on Monday With ticket prices starting at $79.50 and $99.50 we really tried our best to make the ticket opportunities affordable and accessible to fans. The foundation held 75% of the seats priced between $79.50 and $325.50 for the pre-sale Sunday. The pre-sale was offered to people who registered on our public website over the last few months. 25% of these seats, or about 1,200, were held for the public sale Monday morning. There were some $504.50 seats available for both pre-sale and public sale but the majority were held by our event planner for premium tickets and packages. Regarding the pre-sale there are a couple of points to mention. Although it was not intentional, we bear responsibility for the fact that the pre-sale wasn't held on a level playing field. We gave first notice of the pre-sale promotion code to about 3,000 people beginning right at 1100am on Sunday. The notice went out at the same time to everyone but we overlooked that emails don't arrive to everyone at the same time, so not everyone had an equal opportunity to purchase. Tickets were still available as of 1110 or 1115, but for those who received the email later than that, they were frustrated and disappointed, and we apologize. A number of people were told by Ticketmaster that the pre-sale Sunday morning started at 9am Eastern. This is true. We offered a limited, private 2-hour pre-sale window to a select list of friends of the foundation - people known to us. The great majority of pre-sale tickets were still available at 11am Eastern. A few dozen people told us they never received their code at all. We did have emails bounce back to us as undeliverable. Many said they reached Ticketmaster for the Monday morning public sale at exactly 1100 am, or a few minutes after, only to be told the concert was sold out. They could not believe this was possible. Ticketmaster suggested the demand was so great that internet ordering could easily claim 1,200 tickets in a matter of moments. We did hear from individuals who beat the scalpers and got a ticket on the Monday morning sale. But many didn't. We were alarmed seeing that tickets were listed on the scalping sites days before they went on sale. To our knowledge these tickets were only being held by Ticketmaster for the pre-sale and public sale. It is disappointing to us that we can not accommodate all the fans who want to attend. And very disappointing for us to see how many tickets are being sold on the ticket reselling sites from people who only care about making a buck. It's not kind to the foundation and it's not kind to fans. If we do have any tickets in the $79.50 to $329.50 range come into our possession we will inform you, and you can be assured they will be sold at face value. David Lynch is such an authentic and good-hearted man. Please don't let this reflect on him or his foundation's work. Thank you for your understanding and I apologize again for your disappointment. Please feel free to email me back if you have any further questions. Sincerely, Chris Busch Program Director David Lynch Foundation

TM, DID cancel my two ticket order to see Paul in Miami a few years ago WHY? they said my addy wasn't correct!! Big fat lie...there was nothing I could do to get my tickets back....I was sooo upset! Yesterday, I called TM back just to confirm and there were problems... after 25mins on hold I than spoke to a supervisor who was really nice! she corrected the problem, via the phone she said the automated sometimes does not get you addy correct no matter, how clearly you speak and spell out your address! :
Oh no Harley, did you get tickets in the end? I hope your Ticketmaster problems are over! I will say Ticketmaster is not alone in such problems. I had some trouble last year seeing Paul in Liverpool. I think it is just the nature of the business, there is so much demand it is hard to find a problem-free way to sell/buy tickets (problematic for both sides).

I had a really hard time seeing these words during the PM at the Joint sale. They were so much harder than usual. Also Ticketmaster is not allowing people to resell their ticket to this show on their resale site. I guess that is a good thing especially after the Springsteen fiasco in which buyers were directed to that site thinking it was the real ticketmaster site. Too bad about the Miami show Harley. Not to rub it in butI had front row center. One of the highlights of my life. Also could someone tell me are all SRO Joint tickets allow access to the entire floor or are they sectioned up? Im wondering how early to get in line or if it would matter.I know there are some kind of numbers on the tickets.

I meant to say Ticketmaster is not allowing people to resale the Lynch show on their resale site.
