I found this article on Yoko's new album, and interesting flower sculpture, to be unveiled in Chicago: https://www.dnainfo.com/chicago/20160928/hyde-park/yoko-ono-releasing-free-album-when-new-sculpture-revealed-jackson-park

This seems very cool. Glad Yoko's still going strong.

Something like this would be perfect for the lot where my childhood home is soon to be demolished. I would love to see an idea like that one come to fruition for myself, and my Dad's memory, and Peace itself. Amen.

This is her first sculpture in the United States? That's hard to believe.

It's her first *permanent installation. She has had works displayed before..last year when I was in Vegas, the Cosmopolitan hotel had some of her digital art in the lobby, and a wishing tree in the spa. But I guess those are not permanent? I don't know if they are still there. Or if they are, they are not being counted as sculptures.
And there is a 13th petal now installed at the Art Institute of Chicago; she was there on Tuesday:

That's weird. You'd think she'd have something in Central Park or somewhere in New York. Or at least Chicago.

In the article it says, "He praised Ono's as a good friend with a big heart ..." Well, okay. But I would be more convinced if she got no praise and glory for it and it didn't support one of her causes. I wonder if John's sisters see her this way after she gave away their house that John bought for them.
