Upgraded VIP Packages
-
I understand that sometimes Paul's "Hot Sound" packages do not sell out, and then "upgraded" packages are offered. That means fans with regular tickets in VIP sectors can pay the difference (I guess between $500 and $1,000) and watch the soundcheck, get the tour collectibles, etc. But how does it work exactly? Are these upgrades offered online closer to the concert date, or do you have to buy them in person at the venue on the day of the concert? Has anyone here done that?

That's exactly what happens Carlos. The ETIX already answered me twice this week saying that they're waiting for the response from the venue/promoter... They're being very attentive, actually, but the problem is: if they take too long to answer, people might not be able to organize

Thanks. Can you please tell me their e-mail?

If it'd also be okay to get that email too that'd be great! I've already booked my flights and hotel, looking forward to locking in the last piece of the puzzle

I seem to recall that previous "Hot Sound Packages" for Paul's shows offered seats in rows 3 through 5. The Asian package (as well as S. America) offers row 2. Is that something new?

Good question, I don't remember them ever offering row 2 in packages.

Row 2 in Uruguay, Ecuador and Seoul are only available as part of a Hot Sound package. Row 2 in Peru was only available during Paul's pre-sale, I got lucky and bought it without a package Row 2 in Chile (first night) was only available during Paul's pre-sale, but the cost was nearly $1,000 All 10,000 tickets for the second night in Chile (including Row 1) were sold through the local website at regular prices, as no packages were ever offered Tokyo has no info available yet.

There is only one upgrade package, which includes everything (except the ticket) from the regular Hot Sound package: soundcheck, merchandise, etc. That's the one I got, and it cost less than that regular Hot Sound package.

If anyone is still interested in purchasing the "soundcheck upgrade package" for the concert in Chile, it will only be available for another couple of hours. The one for Uruguay ended 2 days ago. All upgrade packages cost the same ($875 + $5 fee), but the one in Santiago should be unique, as it's a much smaller venue. Therefore, I assume the fans will be a little closer to the stage during the soundcheck.

For the Costa Rican concert the upgraded package is being offered at aprox. 1000 USD. It is still available. There are at least 3 seats available for the front row package and a lot for the Premium Hot Sound, rows 3 to 5. In platinum, row 2, and rows 7 to 12 have never been available for general public. During the pre sale only rows 14 to 26 where available for purchase. Weeks later rows 6 and 13 where available for purchase. One question, will all the seats not sold from the Premium Hot Sound (rows 3 to 5) become platinum? or what would happen to those seats?
