I was looking for this interview because they talk about Mohammad Ali and I was reminded of how much I enjoy this interview. It is such a good one. It's one of my all-time favourites because it was taken at such a high moment of their career, just returning back from the US after a very successful trip; it was a great moment for them. I also like this interview because it showcases all 4 Beatles. Each one of them stands out at some point or another. I love George's joke "see that car of his" and John's quick wit with, "Liston, do you want to know a secret?' Ringo stands out the most, in this interview, I think, because you can really see how good he fits in with the others, his casual comedy and likeablity (I think John once said 'pete was a good drummer, but Ringo was a better Beatle', I think this interview really shows that). They all seem happy and in good spirits and this interview always makes me smile-it's so Beatle-ly

"Did your wife enjoy it over there?" John: "She loved it! Who? Who?" Ringo: "Don't tell them he's married, it's a secret." My favorite though was when the guy asks "What about the taste of the fans?" and Paul cracks up and John is really laughing in the background! (Yes, how did they taste Paul?)

And did you catch Ringo's use of the phrase "Tomorrow Never Knows?"

Hi Nancy, Yes, I love that part too "how were the taste of the fans?" I think John mumbles something like "you never bit any of them, did you?" and they all start to laugh I did catch Tomorrow Never Knows So funny how little bits like that are actually used later on. I also love George's laugh throughout the interview, George usually is so quiet and serious, but in this interview he's laughing along like the rest of them.
