I was just thinking of how stale IMO the Ringo and his All Starr band concept has become. I think that Ringo has enough good songs to make a nice concert setlist on his own, this is what I would personally like to see him play if he were to get a good band together and play more of his own songs: 1. It Don?t Come Easy (1971) 2. Act Naturally (1965) 3. Early 1970 (1971) 4. Wrack My Brain (1981) 5. Goodnight Vienna (1974) 6. Weight Of The World (1992) 7. Six O? Clock (1973) 8. Liverpool 8 (200 8. Oh My My (1973) 9. A Dose Of Rock N Roll (1976) 10. I Wanna Be Your Man (1963) 11. Matchbox (1964) 12. Fading In, Fading Out (2005) 13. You?re Sixteen (1973) 14. Boys (1963) 15. Honey Don?t (1964) 16. Snookeroo (1974) 17. No No Song (1974) 18. Don?t Pass Me By (196 19. Never Without You (2003) 20. Wings (1977) 21. Six O? Clock (1973) 22. I?m The Greatest (1973) 23. Back Off Boogaloo (1972) 24. Octopus?s Garden (1969) 25. Yellow Submarine (1966) 26. Photograph (1973) 27. Little Help From My Friends (1967)

Not bad, but a little too heavy on the old stuff. I'd put in "Don't Go Where the Road Don't Go," "Memphis in Your Mind," "La Di Da," "Free Drinks" and maybe "Missouri Loves Company" and drop a couple of the '70s tunes.

"Don't Go Where The Road Don't Go" should be on the setlist.

I've always wanted to make this thread, but I thought I'd get jumped at for making a pro-solo-Ringo thread! I don't think Ringo would have the durability to do a straight- full length normal set though, as far as vocals go. He would need an intermission. So here's my Ringo Show...for 2012. First Set 1. It Don't Come Easy 2. The No-No Song 3. Wrack My Brain 4. Wings 5. In Liverpool 6. Six o Clock 7. Only You 8. Never Without You 9. Peace Dream 10.Walk With You 11.Hey! Baby 12.Snookeroo 13.Memphis in Your Mind 14.Oh My, My 15.(It's All Down To) Goodnight Vienna Second Set 16.I'm The Greatest 17.Back off Boogaloo 18.I Wanna Be Your Man 19.Boys 20.Early 1970 21.Don't Pass Me By 22.Octopus's Garden 23.Honey Don't 24.Act Naturally 25.Yellow Submarine 26.You're Sixteen 27.Photograph 28.With a Little Help From My Friends 29.Give Peace a Chance ENCORE 30.Good Night I don't think anyone would ever need to see Ringo again after this show!

In actuality I think if you're like a die hard Ringo fan, it would be the worst! cause you'd NEVER see any of your favorite Ringo tracks live. why would a die hard want to go hear all those other guys and a couple Ringo Beatles songs!? and I'm sure he probably does You're Sixteen, which is sweet! but all my favs like I'm the Greatest Pure Gold Goodnight Vienna Only You Six Oclock Drumming is my Madness none of them does he play. he's literally sitting on Pure Gold and doesn't even know it

its like trying to catch the sun on the water..

Oh I totally understand!! My set was a realistic representation! He's done I'm The Greatest...but not for a long time. He does pull out the occasional "deep cut", as far as that can go for Ringo. Like, "What Goes On", "Don't Pass Me By", "Oh My, My", "Back off Boogaloo"...now of course most of these are not deep cuts...but in the sense of his setlist, yeah, they are.

Thats true Back off Bugaloo is one I'm sure he does, good song for live. yeah Ringo should be respecting his own catalogue more. a lot of great writers on there. I wonder if its a stamina thing for Ringo, that its all not more focused on his songs? Drumming is tiring I know.

I used it for the opener of my second set. I agree, it is one of those songs that just doesn't sound right in a different slot...but so is, "It Don't Come Easy"

I would add in more recent stuff like Never Without You Choose Love Give Me Back The Beat Memphis In Your Mind La Di Da He actually did Oh My My one year the first part of one of his tours (I was lucky enough to see it and I loved it) but after the first week or 10 days they took it out of the show because he said, it went on too long and there was no easy way to end the song!

Yep! I saw him do it at my first Ringo concert, 2008 at the Taj! I never knew that he took it out of the tour though! I feel special. I think he should play NeverWithout You at every concert. I was very surprised to see that dropped for the 2010 tour, I quite enjoy that one live. The Choose Love tracks don't do a thing for me...rubbish album, and was very put off to hear that two tours in a row...it BETTER not stick around this time!! and yes...Memphis in Your Mind & La De Da deserve come-backs too!

This would be pretty much the only Ringo show I'd pay to see... "Please welcome my special guest, Paul McCartney" Ringo hops on drums...

They really are! I mean, I went to NYC specifically with hopes of seeing him and Paul onstage together...and it happened! But even, if that hadn't happened- it was still one helluva show! AS wa the 2008 show in Atlantic City. Now this year, he's finally coming to Baltimore! First time a Beatle has been here since '64! I'll be there to show him my love! Has anyone ever waiting outside the venue for him? I did it in NYC and didn't ever see Ringo...saw Greg Bissionette before the show, and Rick Derringer and Richard Page after the show.

I waited outside Liverpool. There was a big crowd there but I only saw Greg and he was leaving. I left after waiting awhile, the next day someone came up to me and asked if Ringo came out.
