. And she could make it so that Sean knows his aunts. He has so few living relatives on John's side. I mean CLOSE relatives, which they are.
Sean is a 41 year old man. If he wants to know his aunts he can. It doesn't always have to be in the media. When i saw him at Leeds a couple of years ago with goastt, he was sat in the bar with everyone afterwards, fans were talking with him (and he seemed either drunk or on something cos there were a couple of fans who were just awful yet he was answering absolutely everything... one fan said "i can't believe i#m sat with John Lennon's son.." i felt so awful for Sean..) Anyway, one asked him when are you going to do more for your liverpool family, he said he'll be seeing them next week when he's in liverpool actually. So there you go, from his own mouth. I believe him too, as he even got Julian and Yoko to make up
I'm glad he's remaining in contact with John's family, and that he and Julian get on well. I've seen photos of them together. I'd hate to think of a bitter dispute after Yoko is gone over John's estate. Hopefully they have things worked out ahead of time so that wouldn't ever happen!
Have you read Julia's book? It didn't sound like he has ever spent much time with them or even has a relationship with them. I have to hand it to Julia, though. She didn't put him down when I saw her talk last May, just said she would love to spend time with him.
Hi Fan 4-45 years I haven't read Julia's book, but it sounds really interesting! You must have enjoyed hearing her speak last year. Due to Yoko's fragile health, I imagine Sean spends the majority of his time in New York near his mother now, and might not travel to England as often, that may be why he doesn't see his Lennon relatives as much. But someone else probably knows more about how frequently he travels overseas.

Just wondering why that question or actually comment about being John's son would make you feel awful. He does his best to try & dress like John, wear his hair at times like John, wear the same eyeglasses at times like John so why would that make him feel bad? They all (Beatles children) have to go through that at some point or another.
Yeah but i think you had to be there to see what i meant - the guy was a scruffy drunk bloke who sat next to him at the bar, wouldn't shift, and had a billion photos and said"i can't believe i'm next to John Lennon's son. You're John Lennon's son". I just think if at a gig and meeting them afterwards, when they've been gracious enough with their time to come and properly hang out with some fans, that you could be wise enough to think of them as themselves and if you are wetting your pants with excietment about who they're related to maybe keep it to yourself and not tell them that they're excited to meet them because of who their dad is.. Oh and i don't think he "tries to look like John", many many many people wear that kind of fashion, Sean has had many hair styles he is just currently in a long phase, and as for glasses? Again Sean has had many styles, as did John. I guess he can't win..
