Rockshow in Theatres
-
I saw ROCKSHOW in a small college theater in Albuquerque near the University of New Mexico when it was first released. It was packed! And the atmosphere was like a concert in so many ways!!!

The only time I'd experienced anything like that was when I saw U2's Rattle & Hum in high-school. Next best thing to be at the shows.

I'll enjoy the experience vicariously via your seeing it in the theater.

I never expected this to hit the theatres, this is great news as I missed it the first time around. Think I will have to hit the road to go see this one, a three hour drive will be worth seeing this on the big screen. Makes one wonder...in 2050, when the Deluxe version of Give My Regards to Broad Street finally comes out, will we see the movie back on the big screens? Not very likely!
-
Just think how AMAZING this is going to sounds in a cinema! Silly Love Songs in surround sound!?!?!?! I can barely contain myself!!!!!

As close as we can get to going back in time to the 70s, a decade that, at times, I would like to get back to for a wide variety of reasons, his great music among them. Bring it on!!!!

You and I will be about 95 years old then, so probably it won't matter to us!

If still around, it will give us lots of time to prepare to see it, so that should more than make up for the dfficulties caused by age!

My grandfathers lived to be 102 and 96 and both my parents (82 & 87) are still with us, so there's hope for me yet!

Thanks a lot for posting that - looks like we actually have four theaters in the area playing Rockshow...for anyone from Massachusetts, it's the showcase cinemas in Lowell, Woburn, Dedham and Patriots Place (in Foxboro)

Btw, a little typo or 'misrememberance' on that ad...it infers that this is the first time it's being shown on the 'big screen', which is not true...LOL
