Ya' flatter me! And -- yep! -- you pegged it: I wrote it after observing one of my best friends and his then- three-year-old daughter, Autumn. And I love those lyric ideas! My mind is wide-open! And my buddy Stephen liked what I did with his "Hot Dog" vid. Anything for my fellow Elvis fans!

Added tracks to his cover of Elvis' "One Night". If you ask me, Stephen sounds amazingly like a Sun Records-era Elvis! Uncanny! ONE NIGHT (Stephen's original guitar/vocal):

Cool audi, I respect most a good open mind! Was just playing your song again, and came up with this lyric arrangement, same meter I was using before (basically I think).. but consciously trying to mesh the ?daughter? and ?season? idea of the name Autumn. I like this song man! Autumn.. the summer time stops and then Autumn.. another game will soon begin Autumn.. a little wind in your world Autumn.. you?re daddy?s little girl you?re daddy?s little girl you?re daddy?s little girl? I just think that meter emphasizes the sort of subtle underlying funk in your track. The songs got a really nice beat and rhythm. Of course I?m just having fun thinking about this song. This is not to say at all that yours needs improving upon, let me make that 100% clear. btw, the next song I post on YouTube will be one of my originals, for you and others to feel free to give me any input you think might be useful or interesting as an outside thought. I?ve written a bunch of songs over the years, would like to share a few... hopefully I can get at least 1 down on a .mov file this weekend. have a great weekend my friend.!
I think you've just improved the lyrics! I like the metaphorical dynamic you've added to "Autumn." Maybe I should re-record this one with these alternate lyrics. Hmmmmmm....

I have re-posted a few tracks. Higher audio-quality: AND THEN I SEE YOU [2010] (Bjorn Karlsson Remastered Mix):
(I think Paul McCartney would dig this one...if I do say so, myself!) _____________________________________________________________ AUTUMN [2010] (Bjorn Karlsson Remastered Mix): _____________________________________________________________ IT'S TIME [2010]: (This song came about similarly to how Paul McCartney stumbled upon "Blackbird" while playing a totally different song -- a classical piece. I was strumming Paul's "I Can't Imagine" ... and voila! this song happened!) _____________________________________________________________ OLD LOVE [2010] (Eric Clapton/Robert Cray cover): -
Looking forward to checking out your YouTube Channel, audi Will never forget the thrill I got when you did my song "You Got More Sass than Class" and you had your own melody to it, so different from mine, course you'd never heard mine so you added a whole new vibe to my song. My version sounds "folk rock," something like that. The main insstrument would be acoustic guitar. Course it could be done in a swingin' jazz way too, similar to yours. Oh yeah I was gonna pay you to come up with a melody and vid to my Meat Free Monday song...I can't afford to right now, but would you still be open to that, in the future? In the not so far off future?

Suz', your money is no good here. Would be happy to work with your lyrics again on my dime!

I added tracks/vocals to another one of my buddy Stephen's originals. He's only able to record using an Android phone, so I've been helping him out. I think I kicked butt on this, if I do say so myself: PRECIOUS LOVE (Stephen's Original recording):

That is so sweet! You?re intro accompaniment was great at the beginning.. like a Doors style segue.. if you have to keep all that intro talking, thats a sweet choice how to do it.. A pretty classic Elvis influence too the way he?s doing it, right? I could easily see that one going rocker, sped up with big guitars. Cause your buddy wrote a good melody there! words flow really nice. You?ve got some good lead licks on the guitar, pretty brilliant accompaniment just tacked on there! That big space for the guitar solo really requires a written solo, cause its so long.. its tough to freestyle for that long without a bunch of go to moves you can just fit in whereever. Writing little guitar solos is fun actually. and sharp solos are key. But its not like you're going to spend that kind of time on it.. your boy should write a sweet solo for that one I mean you want to see an example of a sharp solo, check out that Baby's Request I did .. or wait thats opposite of sharp Great listen, thanks man!
Ah... ...there goes the modesty! I never write solos, and I should do that more because melodies come easily to me. Again: Another great suggestion! One of the best written solos ever was on "Hope Of Deliverance."

No rush. It's taken me forever to get projects done sometimes. And lo-fi was definitely the goal there. Stephen's track was even more muddled than usual, so I didn't want to over-produce. I like my Sweet Inspirations'esque harmonies.
