Beatles story I wrote in 1964
-
I was 9 years old and in 3rd grade. Hey, I got an A
-
Good stuff Nance, I was only 2! ...saving my coins for their Melbourne shows in June.

Too adorable Nancy! Love it!️️

Awww Nancy that is so so great! And wonderful you still have it!!! I wrote a story at school when i was 11 (ie 1986) where i went back in time to 1965 and had to find a key to get "home" to the future, and after trailing round New York i went to a beatles concert (as you would if you went back in time!) and as Paul started playing Yesterday everything started to break up and change bit by bit into 1986 and i realise the "key" was a musical key and it was the notes of yesterday!! Damn good idea that, no doubt someone will steal it for a screenplay hehe As you can tell i remember it clearly But i don't have it, and i can't remember what my teacher thought of it - i know i was thought of as a bit weird to be 11 and a Paul Beatles nut in the mid 80s though

So adorable - thanks for sharing! And your handwriting is very neat and lovely for a 9 year old
-
That's something you don't see too much of, nowadays: legible handwriting. Good job.

Correct!.... My Grandma taught me how to write.... proper classic handwriting. Nice loops.
-
Nancy wrote better at 9 than I do presently!
-
Seeing as this has been moved i guess you can have multiple threads of Paul fan fiction and word games etc etc in the Paul forum, but a story about The Beatles can't be in The Beatles forum

Yeah. Now being in this area (What's That You're Doing) instead of Yesterday (which I thought would be fine) could bury it.

Nice penmanship

That is great! I am smiling and laughing inside (a good feeling laughter) ..... thank you for making my day here today Glad you still have the writing to show

There's a Whoopi Goldberg movie where some spy key is the key to a Rolling Stones song. I don't know what year that was released, but you might want to sue.

I, for one, would have seen it a lot sooner in the other forum.

Jumpin' Jack Flash 1986. I think the note was B flat. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091306/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_147

Nancy that is so sweet! Thanks for sharing it... Growing up with the Beatles as your music teachers is absolutely the best!
