UNEDITED 15-minute interview with Brazilian TV
-
I found it funny seeing MJ Kim walking around a little embarassed to be on camera during the first 40 seconds!

excellent interview....

Thanks for posting! Nice interview, and Paul looks ready to go. He was soooo cute (and Paul was, too )

Thank you for posting the interview! It's quite good and there are some good answers there. If there are no songs from the new album in the set, it is because Paul doesn't want to leak them yet, apparently.

Seems like there´s only 3-5 changes on the set-list. Some new songs means just 3-5 new songs... shame..

mmh I believe/hope that there'll be more: Paul said in the interview around 7:23: ...and we have some new songs. Some wings, some beatles, some my own. But a lot of it is the same, because it has to be... then he talked about the expected songs and around 7:49 he said : "But we've a lot of new stuff in the new show". Interpreted optimistic there is 1/3 new and 2/3 "core stuff". In my opinion it could happen we get ~ 10 setlist changes. As hope for us; check setlist changes in the past. We got often more than just 3-5 songs "new"!

I think he could easily do half lesser-known or new songs, and half "core stuff." But I do think he gets pulled in multiple directions by the fans who want him to do more solo/new stuff, and the many, many other concert goers who want Beatles' songs, and want to hear Hey Jude, Let it Be, etc. After the 12/12/12 gig, a prominent New York columnist was ragging on Paul for not playing enough Beatles songs at that show, and basically wrote something like, "When I see McCartney in concert, I want to hear Hey Jude and other Beatles songs, I don't want to hear a bunch of Wings and solo songs." : : So Paul is walking a fine line between, er, recklessness and courage in the set list. There is the same sort of division in my own family about what we want to hear him play when we go see his show this summer. I want to hear some new stuff, but most of the others want to hear Beatles and Wings songs.

new stuff could also mean the stage.

yes he surely means not only songs. But I can't believe that there'll be less changes then in the past. I think situation is similar to the setlist changes for US Summer 04 Tour (unfortunately nearly almost exclusively Beatles songs, + Flaming Pie) or US Tour 05. There were a little bit more than 10 "new"/other Songs.
