Why the festivals??

I agree with you, RMartinez. I'm going to stream the concert from my computer to my TV via Apple TV, pop some popcorn, get into my Snuggie and watch the whole thing. Luckily it's a Friday night so I've got nothing in the morning!

...I remember at coachella, i was in front of the stage, and everybody knew the words to " highway" ...keep in mind, that was early 2009, when the album had just came out......it was something else hearing kids under 30 singing along to all the solo macca songs...

YouTube streams lots of festivals, actually. Excellent video/audio quality -- and it's in real-time.

Will it be the entire set or a tease like Hard Rock Calling back in 2010?!

That Hard Rock Calling thing in 2010 was a joke. All that hype. I planned my whole afternoon around it. I believe that stream was at least an hour or two after Paul's set had ended -- and it was CLEARLY (and obviously) edited, from the very beginning (omitting "Venus & Mars"), going right into "Jet." YouTube is good about streaming ENTIRE sets -- live. There are numerous small stages, so it's possible that they stream only the main stages/tents. Unfortunately, you have to sit through crap sometimes -- Rufus Wainwright's Bonnaroo set last year nearly put me to sleep.

Paul doesn't exactly play a lot of festivals, maybe a few in the past 70 years. I look forward to getting a cheap/free ticket and going all the way up to front row center for Paul's three hour concert without the annoyance of folding chairs in the way, which nobody uses. Do I give a sh*t about the other bands? No. I'll probably leave after Paul.
