interesting, because some people you might not expect, perhaps more interesting and typical for the ones in lighter type, the no longer veggie! (plenty of them in the rock & pop and fashion section ) http://www.ivu.org/people/ __________________________ Rage in Heaven If a robin redbreast in a cage Puts all heaven in a rage How feels heaven when Dies the millionth battery hen? Thank you for the link to this site!

"Hey Jude", remember that "All You Need Is Love" so you can learn to "Let It Be" and "Get Back" to a time when we finally "Give Peace a Chance" and wander down that "Long and Winding Road" for even just "A Day in the Life" of the world.

I got about halfway into a biography of Benjamin Franklin, but to that point it made no mention of his diet. I wonder if he really was a vegetarian. It's a difficult lifestyle now, but I would imagine in his time he was probably the only one in New England! Thnnks for the interesting link.

Vegetarianism has been around a long, long time. It might actually have been easier to be a vegetarian in the past, when people lived more simply.

It's not on that list, but I heard that Rob Zombie was a veggie...kinda find that hard to believe though.

I've got to hide my love away.

Has you also seen the list of famous not-veggies? Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry and Frank Sinatra are on it. Some of my idols are veggies, some are not.

" One evening in 1983, Peel remarked on the air that he would "murder someone right now in exchange for a mushroom biryani." Billy Bragg, who had just self-released his first single, bought a biryani, walked to BBC headquarters, told the receptionist he was delivering food to John Peel, and then offered Peelie the vegetarian meal in exchange for a promise to play Bragg's single that night, which Peel did -- at the wrong speed. Promise fulfilled. " Love it
