This is why I left the animal rights movement. this and the violent rhetoric https://www.change.org/p/remove-aryanna-gourdin-s-twitter-instagram-and-facebook?recruiter=2559430&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=autopublish&utm_term=des-lg-share_petition-no_msg it's a petition to take down all social media accounts of a 12 year old girl who trophy hunts. It's a typical hunter's account, pictures of them posing with the corpse they just killed. But as an American, I find the move to simply remove all the girl's social accounts for a legal activity, regardless of how I or anyone morally opposes it, is an even greater threat to any society. Instead, i would rather find ways to articulate why what the girl is doing is wrong. convince others it's wrong. But it seems that too many in the animal rights movement are bad with words. I've even had one say that because I used to be a vegetarian and am not, that means I'm not trustworthy. WTF? that person gots problems. I believe in the words of Voltaire. I don't agree with what you say but I'll defend your right to say it. The veggies are wrong with this approach. Period. This is why they fail

Do they want to take down the Trump sons' social media for their hunting pictures? Or is it easier to attack a 12 year old girl?

I often find that both groups of hunters, little girls and adult men, get attacked with threats of violence. but the big difference is between the genders. guys get threatened with physical torture. Females tend to get called the B-word and threatened with sexual assault. "Gee, your threats against me have converted me totally to your cause," Said no one ever It's not a productive method also, being American, we're pretty into free speech. This petition is stopping that. it's one thing if the girl was advocating illegal activity but she's not. just immoral and we can judge and criticize but not censor

I doubt people who threaten each other on the internet are trying to be productive. They're trying to be edgy and cool, but the more trolls there are, the more banal they are.

The one who called me untrustworthy among other nasty things did PM me and apologize and explain her mental issues. I just wish she'd have done it publically in front of the people she shamed me with it's pretty prevailent in the animal rights community. even if you're a vegetarian, you get grilled for being one for the right reasons. I had enough there especially with now being a flexitarian and MFM promotes flexitarian diets and these people all stated they support MFM
